G4 gives Starhawk award for Best Multiplayer of E3 2011

Sorry if old. But do you agree with G4 giving Starhawk the prize for best multiplayer? Personally, I'm alright with it because its "build-and-battle" gameplay system makes it feel fresh and stick out from the crowd.

Here's all of G4's category winners.

StarHawk is the only "fresh" multiplayer game I saw at E3. Im sick of FPS so starhawk is high on my list of games to get drakekratos

I am interested to see how the maps will be designed. I am wondering if it will be like warhawk, and there will be areas to respawn, and you build around these, or will it be only a single spawn point.

This game looks really good and fresh compare to a lot of MP games out there.... think its being overlooked by a lot of people though. StarHawk is definitely one of my most anticipated games of the year.

I liked the way it looked a lot. I'm glad it won over the other traditional multiplayer games like Battlefield, COD, Uncharted /whatever.

I don't know, it really doesn't get my interest as much as Warhawk did. If it's as good as Warhawk though, I might have to turn on my ps3 after a very long time.

I don't know i'd still rather play Uncharted 3's multiplayer.

was a good choice. I'm pretty excited about starhawk. Strategy/tower defence/tps in one looks good to me. Graphics look pretty good too.

I can agree with that.

mechs + jet battles in space + build & battle (you can build barracks, factories, defense turrets and then man them, vehicle deployments, etc.) + vehicles + crazy weapons = i'm in.

Watched some videos, looks like Warhawk, which I thought was pretty meh. The ground combat looks pretty bad though. millerlight89

misread...like always lol, idk how it will turn out i guess well wait for the beta, which i heard awhile ago might be around the holidays. kinda hoping it does good because shooter are becoming stagnant

Fine by me. Build and battle looks interesting and Warhawk is my most played competitive multiplayer game this gen (dedicated servers, near perfect balance, moderation).

I was honestly worried Starhawk was going to go the CoD route like most other shooters seem to be doing.

Why do we need a thread any time some random site gives a PS3 exclusive the best 'something' at E3? Many sites gave Gears 3, Battlefield 3, etc the best graphics and multiplayer. The only diference is that we dont see a thread any time it happens.

Anyway, Starhawk does look damn fun! Love the fact we can summon buildings during gameplay.

Not really surprised. Warhawk is one of the best mp experiences I've had this gen. Criminally under-rated.
