Galaxy 2 being the highest rated game ever is ridiculous

I dont think SMG2 is a bad game. but the highest rated game ever should be something that truly revolutionized the gaming industry.. and not something like Mario Galaxy 2. I would have no problem if the highest rated game was SMG2 or Zelda OoT. Or games like RE4, Halo, GTA III, FF VII for that matter.

tbh I dont like GTA 4 either, I think that RDR deserved the ten more then GTA 4, but I think that Mario galaxy definetly deserved the score it got, true it was similar to galaxy original but it still fixed every single small flaw that was in it and really was probably the best core 3D platformer we've seen since the days of the N64 and PS1

SMG 2 had small improvements but the best parts of the game are highly derivative. putting it higher then SMG1 is ridiculous

I think that could be said for all rehashes. The same could be said for Halo,Call of Duty,Final Fantasy,GTA,Zelda,Uncharted and God of War. So they must be rehashes then. No Super Mario Galaxy 2 fully deserves its high praise its getting

That's what I did. I'm sticking with SMG1 because there hasn't been much improvement between SMG1 and SMG2 from what I've played.

Nintendo succeds at something = you can't get away from "rehash" or "new IP" for days in SW.
