game informer : 360 is last with first party exclusives

ok i just got done reading the game informer article

playstation 3 leads by a small margin over wii with 57 the wii has 52 ,plus the 3 upcoming

the 360 how ever, with mass effect 3 multiplalt,

has a mear 36 dispite being on the market 1 yr longer ,

this is pretty upsetting , id bet if we only counted 1 halo game 1 gears game 1 forza 1 pgr 1 pd 1 banjo and 1 kameo , thered be alot less

this is upsetting news cause after all these years fanboys have said 360 had more promising games then ps3 or wii

but it turns out the oposite why because we all know first party can do wonders more then any 3rd party could on the console this is seen with wii alot of times and ps3,

sony and nintendo are well known for their first party games and gis opinion is that wii and ps3 have definatelly delivered or nintendo and sony rather has delivered some of the best games this gen

but there is one thing i dont understand is where they get off saying developers aint making money on wii or ps3,

when its obviously a different story , it takes less money to make a wii game some wii games have actually made more on wii shaun white

at the one who said 360 still better then a wii thats an opinion, ,, i respect that but facts will always out wiegh an opinion and the fact stands 360 only has 36 exclusives , and a smart person would go with one with more exclusives at this late in the gen ,

Isn't game informer the magazine that said the 360 was at 54% failure rate based upon an internet survey of 3000 people and conversely also said the ps3 had a 11% failure rate?

But yes least of all are we talking about first party exclusives or exclusives? because last I checked the 360 had quite a few exclusives I don't believe any lemming has said but we have more 1st party exclusives...but hey lets change the rules again before it was exclusives now it has to be 1st party exclusives.

The gap is going to just keep growing too. I'm sure MS has some games up their sleeve, but Sony is killing them this year.

That being said plenty of 3rd party multi-plats make more sales/money on 360 than PS3. 3rd party games often don't sell worth a crap on Wii and Wii has all but been abandoned by a few developers. That is an entirely different discussion than the volume and quality of 1st party exclusives. BTW Nintendo makes absurd amounts of money on their 1st party exclusives, way more than MS or Sony. But 3rd parties have been known to not do well at all on Wii. There are plenty of exeptions I'm sure, but the norm has been for 3rd parties to either struggle with sales on Wii, or put in minimal effort with the games they develop for it (i.e. to take less risk).

Sony and nintendo have great first party and always give us the best exclusives that's why i prefer wii/ps3 exclusives over 360 ones.TheGuardian03

meh, even though i am going to state a terrible reason why idc since more is always better i'll do it anyway.

when the majority of exclusives are a pile of horrid J-dev that i don't care about this issue carrys very little sting.

mostly people throw this stuff up in lem faces and i'm sitting there saying to myself, "oh noes i don't get some lolli fetish jrpgs oh noooooes!"

Because it didnt happen, Gears was the graphics king back then, until Crysis came along. In fact i think it was around the time MGS4 won the GS graphics award that the CGK thing really kicked off.
