Game Informer claims no Half-Life 2: Episode Three this year

I think they should switch to a better engine, or at least drastically improve Source, because HL2: EP2 looked quite dated. HL1/2 were groundbreaking, it's time to do it again if they want to make waves.

Whew, it sure is a good thing Valve decided to go with the whole Episodes structure so we didn't have to wait long between games....

Seriously, that was their whole reasoning when they began the Episodes in like 2005. Took 2 years for a 4 hour episode 2, and now 3 years for another 4 hour game?

And WTF, whats so hard about making Half Life? They can release a full game once a year (Left 4 Dead), but they cant release a 4 hour game unless its 3 years of dev time?

iwant them toscrap the episodes and just make half life 3, and i want it on a new engine and i want it PC only.

surely they have a new engine in the works by now!
