Game Informer: What will the PS4 do this Christmas?

I read Sony is desperate for some big AAA games for the Holidays they're thinking of releasing Uncharted 4 in two instalments

The first 4 chapters will launch in Nov to go up against Rise of the Tombraider it will be called

Uncharted 4 a Thiefs Journey and the second part in March to go up against Quantum Break it will be called Uncharted a Thiefs end the will cost $40 each, then a Uncharted Collection for Holiday 2016 to go up against Gears 4

But the big one that has Sony really worried is Halo 5, they just don't know if they can compete this Holiday against the biggest and most iconic ip in gaming

Polyphony has been real quiet. I think either GT6 Remaster, GT7 Prologue and or an alternate universe, GT7.. Otherwise the only thing they can do is bundle it with multiplats, probably MGS5. Xbone will probably take over this christmas with Halo.

Sony has a sizable console lead worldwide, but not in the USA, and not in the UK. Everyone keeps saying it doesnt matter what they do, but if they lose the marketshare in the US, they are going to lose Multiplatform game sales which may be more important for their profits.

Why would they split the game they are delaying because the whole game needs to be polished?

I read Sony is going to start hyping Until Dawn as the next big horror action game for PS4 and it will launch this Holiday against Halo 5

Because they are rebooting the series to a whole new generation. And Sony needs a premiere platformer like they used to have.

Uncharted Trilogy Remaster most likely.

Did they really do much last Christmas? Things have been working out for them so far

Come to think of it, I don't think Sony has even released a major AAA exclusive in the holiday season since Uncharted 3 in '11. They chose to release games like The Last of Us and inFamous 2 in June... I don't think they load up November as much as Microsoft does.

Sony has a few gems that can fill some of the void but they need a AAAE for the Holiday or the XBO will kick them square in the ass. Halo 5, Forza 6, AND Tomb Raider???

overhyping games they ordered too many of to get them sold through at brick and mortar gamestops.

Yeah pretty much... It seems Sony doesn't have to do much to keep the momentum going. Even without a big AAA release leading up to Xmas, they'll still sell more consoles (except in US probably).
