Game of the gen GTA 5 releasing in spring?

And look where GTA IV is now on the PC. It has an enormous mod community behind it. There are a host of graphics mods which push it to next-gen visual levels. I am really excited for this I think it can be game of the gen. GTA4 wasnt even bad people rip it like it was one of the worst games ever when it had probably the most detailed and believable open word I have ever seen. Im pumped.

Some people are willing to sacrifice quality for immediacy, while others want the best possible experience. It kind of reminds me of pirates who would rather watch a dvd rip instead of waiting for a quality blu-ray 1080p rip. In the end, I find the latter far more satisfying. Or you could buy gta5 on consoles, then sell it when the pc version releases. MFDOOM1983

Rockstar has repeatedly confirmed that they will not port RDR to the PC. It's not even a possibility at this point. Stop talking.

GTA IV: PC version promised, released months later

RDR: PC version never announced. Confirmed after community outcry that it would never be released on PC

LA Noire: PC version announced a few months after its console release

Max Payne 3: PC version announced alongside official announcement, released a month after console release

I also bought RDR in late 2011, so your point is invalid.

To my knowledge about 90% of Rockstars games this gen was released in May, if not 100% of them. Looks legit and wouldn't surprise me. Ought to hear about it next month in GI.

I do hope we can play as another CJ character in this game. He was my favourite character in the series, and San Andreas is the best in the series. If this news is true (can easily be faked poster) I hope it's not coming out in the already crazy packed month of March.

I had much much much more fun with Saints Row 2 and 3 than I had with GTA 4. I'm not saying it's better, I'm saying I enjoyed them soooo much more.

I do hope GTA 5 is more like San Andreas/Vice City and I will play it and give it a chance. But the only R* games I liked this gen were Table Tennis and the awesome Max Payne 3. I know I'm in a miniority but so be it, gamers have different tastes. But I can't wait to try this beast because I do know Rockstar is one of the best pure AAA developers in this industry.

Saints Row 3, Just Cause 2, and many other sandbox games have come out since GTA 4.

I dont know how GTA IV automatically became one of the highest rated games on metacritic. It honestly wasnt that great now that I look back on it.

My favorite sandbox is SR3. No other game is so wacky, so random, and just pure fun in the "here is a city and do what you want" feel.

San andreas was the worst GTA...lame rap/gangsta story with lame rpg elements!

please dont bring back the rpg stuff to this series!

I bought GTA IV on 360 because I couldn't wait for a PC version but now it's just catching dust while my PC version is still being played. I won't make that mistake twice.
