Game Of The Year 2009, what's your prediction?

Sorry about the poll lemmings, I know you guys didn't do so well this year but there's always next year :P

I honestly don't think anything stands a chance against UC2 for GOTY this year. In fact, this thread is probably pointless since 90% will say UC2 as well. Oh well.

Here's a twist. Also include your prediction for runners up. I think UC2 will be GOTY with MW2 runners up.

I think Chinatown Wars has a good chance and is at least Handheld game of the year. My prediction is UC2.

Uncharted 2, Modern Warfare 2, and Borderlands will be my games of the year.

even batman: AA has a chance.

I think it's too early to tell.. we got alot of games coming out. AC2 (yea, but who knows!), u2, r&c!, etc. SC2?! lol jk. mm but ya!

I mean the MP demo is freaking awsome. And unlike MW2, MP only acounts for 35% of Uncharted 2s appeal :D
So i think MW2 is not going to win this year =( I hope...

Batman: Arkham Asylum and InFamous should definately be on th list!

I gotta say the battle is between UC2 and MW2... MW2 has a lot of excited people behind it ever since it was announced, so unless it decides to suck really hard, i think it will be a close fight.

For Gamespot ? Watch out for Assassins Creed II.Kevin Van Lordreally liked the first one and Ubi is looking to make a far better game this time around. It does look better designed , more interesting , and it has a lot more content and customization.

Uncharted 2 by a country mile. Though I do wish you did have a more varied list-- would have liked to see Forza 3 or Halo ODST along with something on the Wii.. if the Wii even had any good games these year
