Game Of The Year 2009, what's your prediction?

Ratchet and Clank Future: ACIT

I know it won't win, but it will most likely be my GOTY. I'd like to see Infamous, Demon's Souls, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Batman, or Borderlands win the award though. Don't know if any of those have a legitimate shot, but you never know.

I'dsay unchartded2. Demon's souls has a small chance but probably won't win.COD4-2 and Batman will make most lists, but won't win.

With the amount of awards that Uncharted 2 has already won, I think its safe to say it will get game of the year.

GOTY - Uncharted 2

Personal GOTY - Persona 4 by a freaking landslide.

i want Killzone 2 win cause this Game is so wicked especially Multiplayer but Uncharted 2 is amazing aswell

..just don't understand the fascination with Uncharted. It's certainly a good game. Thought the first one was fun, but not incredible. mismajor99

Uncharted 2 has a chance, but I'm going to say Assassin's Creed II will take the award... for being so highly improved over the first. Gamespot isn't a big fan of giving the award to shooters, especially those of the first-person variety.

Sounds pretty accurate. Either L4D2 or ODST for co-op online. Also, unfortunately I cant see putting Batman AA over UC2 because I dont think it will beat it out, but maybe sleeper hit of the year for Batman AA. Now that Im thinking about it, with the exception of a few really good games, this year has been kind of lousy.

I bet I missed some, too. Plus, we're still going to be broke trying to buy games that we missed out on! God, I need a job. :cry:

Batman AA, anything else is just wrong.

UC2 for GOTY, and runners up will probably be: MW2, Demon Souls, Batman and Killzone 2.

UC2 hands down. I haven't even played it and I know it's going to get GOTY.

Uncharted 2, personal GOTY might be ROAR.

My Personal GOTY would be Demon's Souls, with Batman: AA a runner up (of what I have played).

On GS I think UC2's score has to put it in the running (though let's not forget FM3, MW2, and NSMBW aren't even out yet), though I think Batman: AA will get at least a mention too. It's a fantastic game.

Uncharted 2. The mp is in my opinion in the same ball park as Modern Warfare 2(just as noobie, but still fun). Campaign wise, I think Uncharted 2 in the early portions isn't anything special, but as the game progresses it really delivers something exciting. The pacing is really good, the intensity is upped a notch, the AI is hit or miss. Hit being every other time, the miss being stealth type sequences. Really love the graphics in this game, the audio work is really good, and the jokes are actually pretty good this time. I pick Uncharted 2. Its too much of a complete package right now to ignore for GOTY imo. jg4xchamp

I honestly don't think anything stands a chance against UC2 for GOTY this year. In fact, this thread is probably pointless since 90% will say UC2 as well. Oh well.

Here's a twist. Also include your prediction for runners up. I think UC2 will be GOTY with MW2 runners up.

if reviews dont start coming out in a week or two (first reviews within ten days), then you gotta start to worry.

TBH, I think NSMB also has a chance, MORE of a chance if it had online though... otherwise i went for DS

Plants Vs. Zombies deserves GOTY. Uncharted Unshmarted! No game can even be near perfect without plants or zombies. But, Plants Vs Zombies has both, a perfect combo for a perfect game.
