Game of the year???

We are pretty much there. I think everything is out that is going to score high. Forza 3 and Uncharted 2 have the highest scores right at 9.5? Or am I missing something? Dragon Age also got a 9.5 for the pc version. Gay Tony also scored a 9.5 if you want to count an expansion. But everything else scored 9 or below. Since this is system wars lets make it an exclusive battle. If Gamespot is going to pick their goty you'd think it would have to be one of these right? Unless COD or Ass Creed comes in and wins it.

uncharted2. but CODMW2 and DA is a strong contender. could go either way with these 3 IMO.

Forza??? That game is probably great for a racing game, but for an overall experience? no.

Probably UC2. Its one of the greatest games that I have ever played. But if I make any vote, it would be for KZ2, because that game is very underrated.

Voted for uncharted but Dragon Age will probably get GOTY,

Dragon Age is looking like a solid contender, and my personal GOTY.

Dragon Age v. Modern Warfare 2 I reckon. Uncharted 2 gets a third place.

I doubt Dragon Age is going to win even if it deserves it simply because its primarily a PC game and those always get shafted for some reason. I think U2 will win. Even though I myself wasn't the worlds biggest fan of it

I would personally say Dragon Age is better than Demon's Souls, and DS is one of my favourite games this gen.

It's fantastic.

But damn, GOTY is completely irrelevant to me at this point, because all the likely ones are all on the ps3. :D

Don't really need to play it to judge whether or not it will get GOTY at Gamespot, it may help, but not completely necessary. You kinda use your gutt feeling, along with educated guesses (e.g looking at MW2, you watch videos, previews, play the original MW to get a grasp of what the gameplay is like, the developers track record etc.).

Dragon Age origins for PC will win i suspect, i think many people har happy to see a baldurs gate like game again this good

Dragon Age. Not only has it been far and away the best game of the year thus far, but BioWare deserves credit just for having the dragon-sized marbles needed to spend 5 years and god knows how many millions of dollars on a game that has no business existing in the modern game industry.

Not talking down the game, but if you're going to take it to the UC2 -type argument...DAO isn't anything new either. :P

It's definitely refreshing though, there hasn't been a dark fantasy game for a long time, especially one on this spectrum of quality.

After reading the review I agree it has a strong shot.

It's funny because only weeks ago I kind of assumed UC2 had it in the bag.... been a great few weeks for gamers!

Racing games target a very specific audience and naturally has less appeal in the general population. This vote, I would say UC2.

honestly ive never enjoyed a bioware game but understand why people love them so i got no problem with dragon age getting alot of love. i might give dragon age a shot though, the setting intrigues me. BTW i love star wars and rpg's so youd think id like kotor but i never got into it. haven't played mass effect though.

maybe, i love rpg's and they are the one developer that everyone seems to love but i just cant get into any of their games. I'm gonna try mass effect though, i bought it a while back but have put it in the backlog of rpg's behind fallout 3, persona 3, persona 4, valkyria chronicles and more recently demon's souls.
