Game of the year???

I'd want Ratchet and Clank Future: ACIT to win, but it obviously has no shot at winning. With that said I'll go with underdog choices: Infamous and Batman. There are a few titles I have yet to play like Demon's Souls, Dragon Age, and even the two in the poll, Uncharted 2 and Forza 3. I just enjoyed Batman and Infamous so much.

I'd give the slight edge to Batman, but it really wouldn't bother me if a game like Uncharted 2 or even MW2 wins it. Not going to ruin my day at all.

maybe, i love rpg's and they are the one developer that everyone seems to love but i just cant get into any of their games. I'm gonna try mass effect though, i bought it a while back but have put it in the backlog of rpg's behind fallout 3, persona 3, persona 4, valkyria chronicles and more recently demon's souls.

From the games you listed, you seem to be more into "new" style WRPGs and JRPGs, not stuff based on AD&D based RPGs... Mass Effect might suit you though I suppose...

everybody must remember though.. that the only Dragon Age candidate running for the title will be the PC version.. I would not say the console versions are GOTY material in the slightest because the interface is far from functional. However because it is a PC title it will be very difficult for it to achieve GOTY imo I would be more than happy for U2 to get GOTY though as I greatly enjoyed it and still play the online often. I'm betting that either Uncharted 2 or Dragon Age: Orgins will win, although MW2 has chnace though, but will just have to wait for it to be reviewed in about a week or so. Also anyone else remember at the beginning of the year (jan to be exact) how everyone how everyone was making GOTY threads for 09 and most people were saying RE:5 would win? Just thought I'd bring that up.

If that wins I'll be so pissed :P, its great and all but its not quite up there with other full priced and full fledged GOTY contenders. But as GOTY for downloadable games/ expansion packs I wouldn't mind it winning though, although I don't think GS has that award.

Nice to see the worthy game dominating this poll.

After 3/4 hours with the game. Dragon Age: Origins... by far my favourite game this year.
