Game of The Year quality game that NO ONE played.

a poor taste in game like always.

Question is wtf does milleright pereceive as "mediocre" Black ops was polished as hell, he said the game was at the bottom of the barrel. So he doesnt care about polsih but gamepaly He didnt like crysis 1 due to its mechanics, he said crysis 2 was better which was bassicly an inferior version of the first. So basicly polsih and good gunplay metter more to him than sie of the map and non generic stuff. Yet he likes stalker series despite being pretty unpolished and buggy. Could be the argument that its hard, but also liked mass effect 2 alot a very easy game.

I fail to see what is the way he rates games. Also liked invisible war.

Binary domain a japanesse game obviously does not have as much polish and good controls and graphics as most shooters but the game had a nice story and a reolutionary usage of voice commands. Yes binary domain was not polished but it had nice ideas here and there and a nice story with nonlinearity. i remember playing and at some point i was kicked down multiple times and i said SHHHHT and the game understood that and my current partner that i chose said something along the lines "whats wrong, i thought you were a bad ass" I might be biased about that, but it was awesome.

It also matters what you focus to, the game design wise and polish is not very good but it has nice gameplay features that most games lack. BD was a decent game, but GOTY? Very, very far from it. Even now I can still hear that black guy's dialog during combat....ugh.

I haven't finished it but from what I played BD was a very enjoyable game. The gunplay is solid and the story behind it is pretty good. The dialogue could be better. I Just wish the production value for the game was a little higher.

Binary Domain was a meh game. Just good enough to pass the time with low expectations, nothing more.

I haven't finished it but from what I played BD was a very enjoyable game. The gunplay is solid and the story behind it is pretty good. The dialogue could be better. I Just wish the production value for the game was a little higher.

It's an underrated game, but not goty material.

Binary Domain is Japanesely entertaining and should definitely be played by more people, but I don't know if...or sure why not, this year's been pretty poor so far.

Only problem I've had on PC is they just kind of tacked options onto the thing, didn't integrate them. So you get a configuration executable you have to run before starting the game where you choose all your settings. Then you find out an 80 FOV makes it look completely crazy, so quit out and change it, get back in to discover you have to manually change the prompts if you're gonna play with a controller and quit to do that. And they didn't change the animations, so if you up the FOV you can see the guy's legs moving funky.

With that said I'm grateful those options are there, many don't bother. The FOV in the 360 demo was cramped I thought. Don't know what that guy saying it's a crappy port was talking about. Just some minor niggles.
