Game on for Sony. Microsoft has to finally be more serious.

As a ps3 and 360 owner, I feel happy for the recent explosion of AAA titles for the 360 and ps3. We have Batman AA and ODST, which i got for the 360, and now we have Demon's Soul and Uncharted 2, both in which are AAAE, in just 24 hours.

This year alone, we had Killzone 2, Infamous, Street Fighter 4, Batman AA, ODST, Demon's Soul and Uncharted 2. I'm praying that Borderlands and Tekken 6 will be AAA. Theharder Sony and Microsoft battle it out, the better. Microsoft has been a little too arrogant previously.

All this talk of ps3 having a better 2009 is hilarious. PS3 when all is said and done is and will continue to be in last place.

PS3 is dead in America pretty much.

No, in the grand scope of things, Uncharted 2 has potential to be the best selling game on the console. How many games that get reviews like this dont sell? The game is geared to go places, from graphics to the depth put into the multiplayer. This is Sony we're talking about, you know, the guys who made the ps2. You really dont think they can sell this game?

Anyways, although sales go a long way toward securing sequels and such, do they really affect how much you enjoy the game? I personally worry a lot more about whether or not a game is good or not, as opposed to worrying how much it sells.

If the game is good, it will sell. If the game is based on overhype, it will collect dust in the PS3 videogame cases everywhere. Until you can tell me how a developer can spend a review score, sales do matter...

What the hell do you consider good sales then? You make it sound like Ps3 games dont sell. Does every game with a decent review score next to it have to have Halo 3's sales numbers in order for you to be convinced that it sold well? Im sorry to break it to you, but when a game sells 2 or 3 million copies, it sold well, doubly so for exclusives

Is it insecurity I sense in some people? I never once mentioned about who has won the war, or who is going to win the war. And frankly, for anyone who owns both consoles, victory on either side can't be a good thing.

How does one game outsell the other if its not out yet? By January or February next year, will ODST have outsold U2? Yeah, of course, its Halo, it outsells basically everything. That, in no shape or form means that U2 sold bad. Why does it have to be compared to another game sales wise? I actually do think the game will sell well. Naughty Dog isnt some random indy dev and U2 isnt some random indy game.

The ps3 is selling like hotcakes right now, and those sales will only increase, so what do you think these ps3 owners are going to buy? My money is on a blockbuster hit like Uncharted 2
