But at the time i assume more people had pc's and there were more PC publications. Gaming wasn't as big and wouldn't have had as many publications. You can give me facts all you want but Half life is a bad example because people will still be reviewing it today as its still pretty easy to get hold of. IMHO,

Zelda: OoT was a much more revolutionary game. It defined a genre and practically reinvented video games. The game was epic, even by today's standards.

GTA IV is a great game with an amazing amount of detail. It sticks to the exact same formula, though. I'd say GTA III was a better game because it redefined the formula so much.

Honestly though, I had more fun replaying Zelda: OoT then I'm having playing through GTA IV. Zelda: OoT is a game I could replay every couple of years. I'll probably never play GTA IV again after I beat the SP.

zelda is better and thats why its number 1 in the ranking !

Look at IGNs 100 best games evel. Number 16 is Castlevania:Symphony of the Night. That game got a 9 from them. But it's higher up than Halo, which got a much better score.

Scores in games, fundamentally, are flawed. In that way, Gamerankings is crap.

And besides, what if there were reviews for the NES and SNES? That would be the entire top 10, so OoT isn't necessarily the best game ever. Get over it.

How dubious are OoT reviews?= Not much, as far I know.
