Game with the best graphic on PC, vanilla and Moded (a serious thread)

Good. I'd like to see lots of comparison shots. I'd take them buy I can't run BF3 or Cysis on my laptop at anything above low.

So it is looking like Crysis 1 is still graphics king until we get a comparison to BF3. We need a good BF3 vs Crysis 1 unmodded graphics thread with 20 of the best pictures each. That will determine what the current graphics king is.

I already explained why crysis 1 is way below technical wise not only to cyrsis2 but many other games out there, GTAIV and crysis2 has the best moded graphic. Will get my hands on BF3 as soon as I finish with Dark souls, but before than crysis 2 has the best graphic on PC hands down.

Crysis 2 is ugly as sin. And seeing it on consoles makes me wanna hurl :P

Those are the best looking games overall, of course on PC.

For consoles its gotta be Uncharted3, Heavy Rain, Rage, Forza4 and Gears 3 for me personally.

I've said this before and I will say it again: the technical aspects of a game do not matter one bit if it looks worse. You can have all of the tessellation and other advanced technology available in a game, but if it is implemented poorly, like it was in Crysis 2, it will not look as good. There are many games that do one or two things better than Crysis, but none that beat it in every aspect which is why it is still graphics king. However, Battlefield 3 may just overall look more realistic than Crysis 1. More comparisons shots and playtime are needed to determine if it is better looking.

Witcher 2 is definitely one of the three best looking games on the PC. If you have the hardware to totally maxed it out it's stunning.

I've said this before and I will say it again: the technical aspects of a game do not matter one bit if it looks worse. 1. constantly mistaken the real maxed out vanilla crysis and moded crysis(espcially, reyel and real lifesis) and mix them up in discussion

2. all of you only provide your answers by your mere memorization without any knowledge, heck many of you didn't even bother to look at the topic

3. most of you don't have a rig to play vanilla crysis max out let along the mods, so all your imaginary graphic are from your goodle searched bullshots.

Tessellation, superior light bending objects, far more detailed and larger texture map, superior geometry, fine toning DOF. better and improved partial effects etc etc are what makes a game edge out in graphic, when crysis1 inferior in all aspect, in what sense can you say it look better? just cause it has trees in vanilla games? that's like the only thing cry engine 2 ever capable of doing. cry engine 3 slay it with ease.

deal with it, crysis's graphic has been suprpassed ever since metro2033, it doesn't take GTAIV mods or crysis DX11 to kill it.

That's pretty much the point I was trying to get at. It's really damn obvious a lot of Crysis pics are just that, even outside this thread. I don't see a reason why they should be discredited now when they're actualy relevant for once.
