I donno man, ive been seeing just as much hype for this as Mario Galaxy and halo3 got, maybe even more.

Ill be buying the game regardless of the score, but there hasnt been a game this hyped in awhile on gamespot i must say. I enjoyed the beta, but i dont expect myself to give it a 10/10, but time will tell.

That is were your wrong. In my mind I don't know what it is cause I have never played the game. Nor have you or most of the people on these forums. After playing it is only when someone should call a game by what it is.

Unless Killzone 2 is as epic as MGS4 will I call it a 10, but the highest I think I will rate it will be a 9.5.

Dead Space, Call of Duty 4 and Bioshock are amazing games which deserve 5/5

sigh... theres a huge flaw in have a 5 point system instead of a 10 point system like all reputable sites.

a 5 point system isnt specific enough.

a 4/5 could mean 8/10 or 9/10... quite a difference.

if gamepro had any integrity, theyd change.

Many previews and impressions claim the game delivers GAMEPLAY-wise. The game does use a first ever FPS cover system, along with the best animations, Hit detections, explosions and overall realism concerning weight/movement. Killzone 2 doesn't look like a typical shooter, IMO. It looks 10 times better in every way. Too bad people won't admit this, since they are still dwelling in the past about Killzone 1 and automatically think K2 needs and has to suck. The difference in development is massive...among with the great shooters out there, GG seem to have put the best of shooters into killzone 2 among its own unqiue touches. Eyezonmii

I am going to buy a PS3 and Killzone 2 next month. I don't think Killzone 2 is going to have all the innovated features that Halo 3 has.
