I think it's the community aspect, and Halo 3 lets you create your own characters and stuff. I don't know a whole lot about Halo 3 since I haven't looked into it much though.
Forge thing, lets you customize things inside the map.
how is that revolutionary? PC games have been doing that for the past 10 years. And LBP is much deeper than Halo 3 Forge.
its the video / screneshot capture / sharing in halo 3 r-tards. and before some idiot says "BUT BUT..FRAPS ON TEH PC!!" on this one you dont have to edit, and compress and sacrafice frame rate etc. Its different than fraps it records from all angles etc.
Gamepro has notoriously been the one game magazine that has never failed to show how hard it fails. Halo 3 innovative for VIDEO SHARING??? OMFG guys, like we haven't been sharing gaming videos since before the SNES days.justdog11
can those recordings be played back from any possible angle on the level and from other peoples perspective with the ability to zoom in, look around, pan etc?? NO. was there an easy to use interface to share with others? no. go away.
i hate ignorant people who bash things that they know nothing of.
[QUOTE="A_Gamerz_soul"]they forgot crysis, so i label it BS.
leejohnson7
How does crysis break all the rules? teh 1337 grafix!111111127 lolz. No, games like Shadow of the Collosus... which have an actual art style. Crysis doesn't even look fun, it's like a tech demo.
incrysis.com, crysis-online.com, or ea.crysis.com. Enjoy!

Ever heard of BF2 battle recorder?
Gamepro made a list of 12 games that are breaking all the rules (Aka being innovative) -- heres their list (no particular order)
- Assassin's Creed - Innovations: Defensive Combat, Extreme Environmental Interaction, and Social Stealth
- Stranglehold - Innovations: Infinitely Destructible Enviornments, Gunfire Combos, and Auto Slow-mo
- Fracture - Innovations: Similar to Stranglehold
- Bioshock - Innovations: Morally Challenging Gameplay, Strategic Customizing of Weapons, and Dynamic Enemy Behaviour
- Spore - Innovations: Similar to Bioshock (GP, not me)
- COD4:Modern Warefare - Innovations: Expostion and Storytelling, Multiplayer meets RPG
- Left 4 Dead: Similar to COD4:MW
- Metroid Prime 3 - Innovations: Ultra Smooth FPS shooting, Lock-on Free aiming, and Direct Interaction with Objects
- MGS4 - Innovations: The octocamo suit, Emotional AI
- Halo 3 - Innovations: Video Sharing, Community Tools
- LittleBigPlanet - Innovations: similar to Halo 3 :?
- Enemy Territory: Quake Wars
So, what do you think? Agree or disagree?Haziqonfire
This list is truely terrible. There are only two games that should definatly be there and those are Fracture and LBP. Some have potential such as Assassin/Spore, and most should not be on that list at all such as Halo 3/ MGS4 and Stranglehold.
P.S. What the hell is Emotional AI? Do the characters cry if you are mean to them?

As little as I care about the playing the game, I have to agree. How many other games have almost completely destructable environments? None.
Some of those I agree with, but Halo 3 and Metroid Prime 3? Um.....Yeahgoodlay
There is no auto aim in Metroid Prime 3, which is what makes it better. No console FPS has manual aiming, most have auto aim or a lock on system like the past Metroid Prime games, however the fluid aiming controls make for an easier experience as well as keeping the faster pace of PC FPS's. Anyone who says otherwise needs to watch the gameplay preview from Nintendo's press conference.
