There are more reviews averaged on gamerankings for Halo 3, because more people have played Halo 3.

MGS4 is on a much smaller userbase, leading to a much more smaller amount of reviews, leading to a lower score because there's less to average together.

Mario Galaxy is one of the best games (if not the best, and by GR it is one of the best of all time) this gen. It would have been just as awesome on any other console.

The hypocrisy of Cows and Lemmings is so funny sometimes. Cows pulled this same crap last year with Ratchet and Uncharted and Lemmings have been doing it this year with MGS 4 and Resistance 2. TC, you know Gamerankings doesn't mean anything, MGS4 is AAAAE. Which means it's better than ANY exclusive on the 360. Just ****ing deal with it.Floppy_Jim

You know exactly what I'm talking about. That's why I said "Lemmings have been doint it THIS YEAR." They used GR to downplay MGS4 and Resistance 2. The same way Cows used it to downplay the R & C flop.

Sorry. Wont fly here. Gamerankings? Joke site now-a-days that counts MANY fan sites. They only count mostly NA and some European reviews as well. No legitimate Asian or Australian publications.

I know :lol:. No one should use GR or Meta really. Too many fan sites and no name publications are counted. Cows tried to use GR when they felt desparate and now Lemmings are doing it. Tsk Tsk. But we go by GS here!

Halo scored top ratings across the board but completely failed to make me give a crap. Might be because I did'nt play the first two but an fps should not rely that much on story.And I highly doubt actually knowing the story would enhance the experience that much. I just can't see what makes it special.

MGS4 is overrated too but at least I bothered completing it.

I prefer MGS4 over Halo 3.Though they're different in terms of genre, Halo 3 is an FPS and to be honest there are TOOOOOOOO many FPSs out there whereas there aren't many stealth story driven games which makes the Metal Gear saga kinda one of a kind. Splinter Cell isn't half as good as MGS3 to begin with. MGS4 is unique.

No offense, but Mario Galaxy is irrelevant. Everyone still talks about Gears, Halo, GTA, MGS...but how often do you hear people bring up Galaxy?

If you're going to talk about Halo getting high scores due to hype, as many people do, Galaxy is EQUALLY guilty of this.

I hated the game. At some point I stopped enjoying platformers like Galaxy. I much MUCH preferred Ratchet and Clank FTOD.

Thats a big feat but they are two completely different games thus being difficult to compare.

The only similarity between the two games are that they are both brilliant.
