I never seen any of thos complaints for RE5. Most of the complaints for RE5 was mainly QTEs and forced co-op. RE6 is just a bad action game, with the RE name slapped on to it.
I totally want tons of gun-wielding zombies in a sub-par third-person shooter game.GhoXAt what point do Zombies wield Weapons? Why are people so dumb? The enemies that do use GUNS are NOT zombies, CLEARLY told by their LOOKS. The J'avo's are a much more inteligent mutative virus strain, that gives them more human abilities. At NO point in leon's campaign do Zombies weild guns. gsus.
Actually there are various points in Leon's campaign where Zombies mindlessly fire machine guns, fire elephant guns, use melee weapons and some can even throw dynamite at you. Time to play the game again. Either way zombies aren't going to help this game from being an incredibly linear shooter with next to no survival horror elements.
Funny how multiple people are saying that those complaints were never made, because I remeber exactly what the TC is talking about. I only played Leon's campaign and I thought it was great to be honest.
No..NO they don't. All they do is melee and jump dive you. Again, they're NOT zombies. lolActually there are various points in Leon's campaign where Zombies mindlessly fire machine guns, fire elephant guns, use melee weapons and some can even throw dynamite at you. Again, they're NOT zombies. lol WRONG, there are zombies in the Leon campaign that will mindlessly fire at you, not in the same way as in Chris and Jakes, but they do do it. And the jumping zombies are a million times more annoying than anything in Resi 5 was, it's completely unpredictable, hard to defend against and incredibly stupid, why can these lifeless shambling corpses suddenly leap 10 foot through the air from a prone position?Actually there are various points in Leon's campaign where Zombies mindlessly fire machine guns, fire elephant guns, use melee weapons and some can even throw dynamite at you. I watched the GS video review, it looks less fun than blow torching my own armpits. sts106matshame, cause if u played it...you'd enjoy it, expecially if u gave it some time to master the controls/new mechanics, etc. Your loss.

Nope, sorry, you're not gonna buy me off with "added difficulty" anything that you can hardly dodge and happens all the time is not added difficulty it's added tedium and frustration, it's like bosses that have instant kill moves, it's just cheap.

GEE WHAT'S THAT, ALMOST LOOKS LIKE IT'S A ZOMBIE FIRING A GUN.

Bu...but it's a policezombie  For a cop with a gun to turn into a zombie, and weild a gun in a NON human fashion (aiming at the ground spraying it all over)..doesn't seem far fetched. since even humans who die can have the finger still be squeezing the trigger due to a nerve/muscle reactions that still continue...honestly, didn't notice them, i was going by the actual zombies we know best. Them leaping in the air isn't the argument here...again, it works so no complaint there.Yeah same here. Either those gamers weren't around here when RE5 released or they have VERY short short term memory. All those complaints are the reason I never bought RE5.Funny how multiple people are saying that those complaints were never made, because I remeber exactly what the TC is talking about. [QUOTE="Sushiglutton"]Havent' heard any complaints about those three, so I don't get the point of your post tbh.meconateYeah, I think he's just saying what he wanted from Resi 5 and he's clearly disappointed with Resi 6. Neverthemind, there's more problems with Resi 6 than what he believes. facepalm* i actually love RE6
[QUOTE="soapandbubbles"][QUOTE="sts106mat"]I watched the GS video review, it looks less fun than blow torching my own armpits. sts106matshame, cause if u played it...you'd enjoy it, expecially if u gave it some time to master the controls/new mechanics, etc. Your loss. i dont think so, the wiggling sticks, walk, cut scene, door, cut scene, instant death from cars, awkward button prompts, forced set piece after set piece all add up to bad news. Resident Evil 4 is one of my favourite games of all time, Resident evil 5 was awful and this one looks even worse unforunately, the way i see it, i have saved myself £40.It's nothing like that dude, Kevin v was actually seriously overexaggerating when he said that, i have yet to have an instant death from cars because that just doesn't happen, there a couple of times you can be instakilled by an ambulance if you are in the wrong place but i never was, in fact i have not had an instant death at all, it gives you the button prompts in time to easily avoid them. The problem with kevins review was that it reeked of somebody who had only played the game for 10 minutes because a lot of the things he talked about where just not the case in my experience, the controls are exellent if you have the sensetivitys set properly, you can do max payne style backwards dives you can slide across the floor, your character is just more flexible than in other RE games, the only gripe i have with the game is the cover system but you don't ever find yourself really needing it anyway you are certainly NOT forced through set piece after set Piece either, there are not really that many to begin with, lol

so a game with zombies and moving while shooting ius automatically good? DID NOT KNOW THAT, TY.
re 6 doesn't have the quality expected and is a mess without identity trying to copy more famous games.
and the zombies in this game are a joke compared to the first resident evils.

Still haven't told ANY story after like 30 games and what happened to the survival horror? Why is every police officer a super powered ninja? If I wanted this many QTE's I'd play God of War or watch Medal Gear. Why did they have to kill off everything that was good about the game to make this piece of generic feeling garbage?soapandbubbles
I fixed it for you.
Agreed, RE6 haters are hypocites. This guy explains why the game is in fact good: Resident Evil 6 is awesome!!! - YouTube
yeah, i get that, just don't base your descision on Kevins review, a lot of what he wrote said 'i am no ggod at this game so i don't like it' also, don't bother playing the demo becasue i't hands down the most boring part of the game, it's all walking whereas the rest of the game is mostly running and shooting. if i was to sum this game up i would say it's resident evil pulling a left4dead routine.delta3074
Have you finished the game yet? I beat Leon's and Jakes story, now I'm just starting Chris. But man Leon's final boss is exhausting, it went on FOREVER. And trying to climb that rope was way harder than it should have been.
I'm a few hours into Leon's campaign and I must say, the QTEs do suck. There isn't a lot of exploration so far and it feels more like I'm playing a micheal bay movie than a survival horror game. Also, it takes a lot of bullets to take down anything, even with headshots. I wouldn't say its a 4.5, but I can see how fans of the series would be very dissapointed.
Time for a reboot, imo.

If that were the case, the entirety of RE6 would play out like Leons campaign. And it would not have done so bad critically.
Unfortunately Capcom put Chris' campaign in there.
