Games from the past that you would love to see with much better graphics

Call of Duty 1:

Call of Duty 1 was so much fun to play back in the day. I bought it on day one, and it's probably one of my most played games ever. If they decided to recreate this game exactly how it was back then only with much better graphics I would surely play it.



Age of Mythology:

I actually played all games from the Age of Empires series and I liked all of them. But if i wanted one game to be remade with better graphics it would be Age of Mythology.
I would add Age of Empires 3 to this list as well but that game already looks good to me. I played a ton of Age of Mythology and it's one of my most beloved strategic games ever.



Goldeneye:

One of my favourite childhood games. Unfortunately the remake (GoldenEye 007: Reloaded) s*cked so much that it left a big bad taste in my mouth. It was nothing like the old N64 game that I enjoyed so much.



Medal of Honor Frontline:

This game was something else. I remember hyping it so much to my friends when I was younger because the game had Omaha Beach in it.
One of the best WW2 games imo.



Banjo-Kazooie:

Also one of my most favourite childhood games.

I was going to say Banjo-Kazooie. I heard some rumors about Nintendo buying the series a few days ago, so hopefully we'll either get a remake, or better yet - Banjo-Threeie.

Some of my favorite shooters ever. Played the original on my uncle's PS2 and loved it ever since

Easily my favorite PS1 games. I dream of the day an HD version comes out.

Metal Gear Solid

I, honestly, didn't like Twin Snakes. It was all those lame action moments in the cutscenes. I know MGS has had it's overdone silly fight scenes, but Twin Snakes is just... blargh. Still, HD MGS? Eeeh?

I think if they would remake the first COD they would implement a health regen system in that. I'd rather play it with outdated graphics then.

I would love an Age of Mythology 2 more than a remake of the original one. They could add more ancient civilisations, it would be interesting to see what kind of mythological creatures they could have.

I agree on Banjo-Kazooie and they should remake Banjo-Tooie as well.

None, this is a terrible idea. Graphics don't make a game better. If game developers started doing this and people actually bought them we'd have no new IP's, everything would just be a remake of games we've played before, it would be like hollywood.

Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2. Playing the original in the MGS HD collection reminded me how much I loved those games.

Those are the games I'd like to see with greater graphics.

san andreas with physics and better graphics and a cover system

I would say Half-Life 2 but it already looks more realistic than most games today. So I will say either Gauntlet Dark Legacy and I would like all of the pokemons to have more realistic graphics.

Realms of the Haunting. Stunning and varied environments. Unfortunately 1996 graphics and FMV look exactly as old as they are today. Would love to see this game remade.

I'd love it if more games from the past were created like the remake of Earthworm Jim.

Especially Sonic the Hedgehog. It would be better with HD sprites rather than 2.5D

A remake of Theme Hospital!

I would like to see Shadow of the COlossus with bleeding edge tech. Pure dynamic lighting and shadows with great dust particle efefcts, SSAO, particle shadowing, all that kind of stuff. But I still adore the game the way it is. Would just be interesting to see it
