Games from the past that you would love to see with much better graphics

any game with 3d graphics honestly. especially games with non cartoony graphics. So honestly I could list every game I like that fits that criteria.

I would really like racing games from last gen to be remade with better graphics. Midnight Club 3, Burnout 3, NFS HP2 all of the above series either aren't getting new iterations or the new games aren't as good as back in the ps2 days.

I'd also like to see some of the ps2 dbz games with current gen graphics. it's weird but everytime a new dbz game comes out (this gen) it looks worse then the one before it. Burst Limit> Raging Blast> RB2> Ultimate tenkaichi, I played a demo for some naruto game in 2008 and it looked better then all of these games.

One of my favourite childhood games. Unfortunately the remake (GoldenEye 007: Reloaded) s*cked so much that it left a big bad taste in my mouth. It was nothing like the old N64 game that I enjoyed so much.

I haven't got a chance to play the new one myself, but it looked interesting enough. I assumed I'd have to approach it without expecting it to be a faithful remake, and judge it for what it is. But yeah, I'd also really like to see a complete, exact remake of N64 goldeneye, with super spiffy modern graphics (as pretty as can be). I've been playing a little bit of Goldeneye: Source, but it's just a remake of the multiplayer levels and characters and guns, in the Source Engine. Its fun. Looks nostalgic, but doesn't feel nostalgic.

Also, though, I'd love to see an exact remake of Metal Gear Solid, perhaps in the new Fox engine...? I loved Twin Snakes, but I only ever got to play it at my friend's house. I don't have a gamecube. Plus, I'm not a huge fan of the gamecube controller. A Fox engine remake of original Metal Gear Solid, looking at least as good as MGS4, that I could play with a playstation controller... that'd be the sh!t, right there.

For it's time it had great graphics, it still looks good due to it's unique artstyle and character designs. But modern technology could make it's world look absolutely gorgeous.

Giants: Citizen Kabuto

Basically the same as Sacrifice, looked great when it released, still llooks alright due to it's art style, but could be so much better with modern technology.

There's nothing wrong with refusing to play a graphically outdated game. That's why we have texture packs. To make sure we don't go blind when we fire up an old game. e.g. Deus Exfreedomfreak

I would love an Age of Mythology 2 more than a remake of the original one. They could add more ancient civilisations, it would be interesting to see what kind of mythological creatures they could have.

I agree on Banjo-Kazooie and they should remake Banjo-Tooie as well.

To be honest though COD1 and AoM still look good today. I'd rather see more N64/PS1 titles be remade because the 3D graphics back then were pretty rough.

recently they announced Killzone 1 in HD but I'd rather see a total remake in the KZ2&3 engine with better gameplay and everything than just a simple rez bump :P

I played the PSX and PC SVGA original plus the 3dfx-enhanced PC version back in the late 90's. Anniversary still looks much better:

definately i still replay tons of ps2 games and for the most part don't mind the graphics. it's just playing them with even better graaphics would be awesome
