actually i guess im not really that diehard of a cow if ive never played MGS. or FF. Or killzone. Or hundreds of exclusives.
However gran turismo is what got me into gaming, and was the reason i bought both ps1 and ps2, and will eventually get ps3. The majority of the remaining games i bought were multiplat
Splinter cell. I was looking for my first shooter for the ps2, and very quickly realised that this was not it, and what i wanted was a run and gun shooter. It was OK, but i got tired of running out of ammo, and haven't popped the disc in again for a very long time. I hear MGS is quite similiar, and im secretly getting a little worried (die hard cow)rarsi123
Splinter Cell is NOTHING like Metal Gear. Metal Gear is good
splinter cell was still good, just got a little bored having to replay sections over and over.
This was also the game that made me realize non linear games are crap. I hate wasting half an hour going down the wrong corridor and then realize im looking in the wrong direction
Don't Like - Fable, MGS
Like - PDZ, Wind Waker (considered by many to be the worst Zelda, it is my favorite), Brave Story, Jeanne Darc, StarFox Command
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Nothing but pure hatred from me for this game, especially with the unbalanced levelling. Attacking a rat would give you the same amount of experience per hit as attacking a frost atronach. Conjured creatures also give off the same experience per hit and because they die as soon as you summon another one, you can't die and you'll gain experience MUCH faster than you would adventuring.
There's only a few skills that would take major dedication to level such as mercantile, speechcraft, armorer, acrobatics, and athletics. The others have tricks involved or don't require more than 3-4 hours of repetitive use.
Eventually, you'll be level 30+ without even going to Kvatch. Enemies will have very expensive equipment on them and money will no longer become an issue. If you know how the stat system works in relation to your skills, you'll be able to max out most of your stats.
Buy out all the spells you can get (especially chameleon and soul trap), enchant all your armor with 20% chameleon, and start stabbing or smashing everything you see until you're done.
Dude...Bioshock, just couldn't get into it. :|

I'd have to say Gears of War, I tried it and played so many times at a friend's house to try and see what the fuss is all about, but I never really saw what was so great about it, besides the graphics which on my friend's SDTV looked like crap. Shaqneel
Yeah I'm really not a big gears of war fan. Halo is X times better.
I also hated the leveling in Oblivion but the thing that annoyed me the most is vampirism. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Same here. Great production values, but a self-indulgent story that I can't understand. And the gameplay's not too good, but you don't buy a Final Fantasy game to play it :P.
The new FF games are so hard for me to get into. I could play The lord of the rings the third age and enjoy it, but coudn't even get into FFX at all....
Sorry FF fans. I tried.
Ok, I think Zelda games are okay, but nowhere near the god-like descriptions it's fans give the series. Honestly I founf the 2D games to be better, namely aLink to the Past. Other games I'm not crazy about or just don't like at all are...
GRAW 1&2
Super Paper Mario
Gran Turismo
I really can't name a lot...
I owneda GC last gen, but the two games I couldn't stand on it were Wind Waker and MP.
I'm a huge Zelda fan, but I just didn't like WW. With MP, I just didn't like the game as a whole.
Could never get into Banjoo-kazoee and GTA got old quick.
Bomberman 64, I didnt really like the singleplayer but I erally loved the multiplayer. I really dont see what people have against it. I guess its because that was teh first bomberman game I'd eevr played.
