Id love to see another Alpha Protocol too... Though not sure that's possible.

Almost forgot that was owned by Sega... They have a long history of abandoning IPs, so no surprise there. But the new Sega does seem interested in reviving old IPs. Not sure if more modern titles like Vanquish or Alpha Protocol are on the cards though, as they're mainly focused on reviving older '90s franchises.

Forgot had this, funny thing, I fucking love James Bond stuff as well.

Remember critics shitting on it it back in the day when I cared about their opinion.

Never played Alpha Protocol, but heard it was like James Bond meets Mass Effect.

It's hard to take critics seriously anymore.

@Jag85: I played it for the first time this year and was ridiculously impressed.... There are no modern games doing anything as cool as alpha protocol.

@TheEroica: Well, I was impressed by Obsidion's other game Fallout: New Vegas. Is Alpha Protocol similar or totally different?

@Pedro: the way the game plays is just so unique... Timed choices in a very cool espionage setting with action RPG elements. It's sum of its parts give it a fresh feel throughout.

Have you played it? I truly loved it when I played it a few months back.

@Jag85: it's closer to mass effect than fallout. In fact I wouldn't compare it to fallout at all... It has weapon based skill tree like mass effect... And special perks on skills, but it's the timed choices and narrative steering that really make it pop.

I remember when it came out critics were like, meh... I was not meh at all. It's aces.

I haven't. I may already own it so I may have to check. However, thanks for the info.

I'd have to agree with you on " The Order 1886". The game had an amazing setting and lore.

Days Gone. I had written it off from the initial reviews. The story isn't that great overall and some of the gameplay loop choices are questionable, but I had an absolute blast killing freaker hordes and really didn't expect to platinum the game. I really think they should have given a sequel a shot

I remember hearing about the timed choices thing. Reminded me of an earlier Sega franchise with timed choices, Sakura Wars. But Alpha Protocol appears to be the first action RPG with timed choices.

What a difference between the critics and the users.
