Homefront, though it was Demo only, the game looked like it was originally made for Wii and raised a bit for 360.Nozizaki
Should play the PC version. They had another studio put in extra graphical features and it ended up looking pretty good (For the most part. Still some areas that were very bad.)
i'm Guaranteed to get Flamed for saying this, But I was seriously disappointed in Uncharted 2 Graphics, especially online. And i'm a PS3 owner only. After playing Killzone 2 and Geow2, I heard all the talk of Uncharted 2 walking over both but I was seriously disappointed.

My PC's graphics card if pretty bad. It's integrated so I can only run anything at 720p. Besides that it is pretty good. I've got a 1 TB HDD
Wii games, DS games (yes I regret buying my DS), and 3DS games.[QUOTE="AmazonTreeBoa"]
[QUOTE="nameless12345"]Games that disappointed you in graphics?

Even Resi Revelations?
Show me gameplay footage, not CGI.The overall graphics quality of Wii games. Given that a good chunk of them looked like N64 levels of graphics, it became clear a lot of devs just gave up. They could've at least aimed for GCN levels and I would've been happy.
Super Mario Galaxy (1 and 2), Sonic games (Secret Rings, Black Knight, Unleashed, Colors), Monster Hunter Tri, and Metroid Prime 3 don't look like N64 games to me. A lot of devs, that doesn't mean everyone. Still, I feel like we never saw the limits of the Wii.every halo game from this generation.

Even though it's not the most beautiful, it still has nice effects, ambience, and atmosphere. Great game.Alan Wake looked kind of ugly in some parts of the game.

- Metal Gear Solid 4... the textures were so garbage and the graphics all muddy, it was terrible, and yet the long 30 minute videos had decent graphics quality. Honestly though, how can you not just mention every single Wii game ever made? Here are some that disappointed me:
- Super Mario Sunshine; after the wonderful intro I thought the whole game will look as good but sadly the textures were pretty low-res and it generally didn't impress me.
- Halo 2; people were saying it can match Doom 3 and H-L 2 on the PC but that was as far away from the truth as it gets. Impressive game for the Xbox but I think even the Xbox versions of Doom 3 and Riddick beat it in graphics.
- Half-Life 2; after the killer presentation on E3, the final game just felt a little underwhelming in graphics with it's low-res textures and dead cities.
- Forza 2; the game just felt so static and sterile and had bad texture filtering.
- Zelda Twilight Princess; the game had blurry textures and too much bloom.
- Pikmin; it looked amazing on promo pics but the final game just wasn't nearly as pretty.
These are just some I can think of right now.
What about you?

You know, I now understand why you have that chic in your sig... she shoots blue flames. lol I just watched the entire series this past weekend and it was great, a lot better than I expected.:)Me too! I'm the first to admit that the tech behind Crysis 2 is better than that of the first (it's pretty easy to see when you play them back to back), but my gawd, did they ever misuse it.

Oh it's such a great series. I'm watching an episode right now. :P I've literally been in love with it since I was little.
... and there's so much more than blue flames to Azula. She was the best character fo sho.
Crysis 2 on consoles was a letdown graphically. After playing (and being wowed by) Killzone 3 I thought what everyone sees on this rubbish?

Were you disappointed in the graphics of those gamecube games when they came out, or did you just play them recently and were disappointed? :P
theuncharted34
When they came out. It's not that they looked bad by any means but I expected more.
Not sure what you were expecting :P
But those games looked fantastic when they came out.
Yup. I still like the water effects in Sunshine. :)
Halo 3 hands down. The most anticipated game the 360 will ever have and it's the worst looking game on the system.
Crysis 2 PS3 - Looked average.
Infamous 2 - Looked like some kind of graphics king in trailers, the demo looked awful.
GTA IV - Bad graphics for what was a bad game.

Avatar: the Last Airbender is THE best Cartoon ever made.
I watched every episode the day it aired.
Are you psyched for Korra? I certainly am.
The last two games I've played. They were still fun, but I was underwhelmed by the graphics.
-Split/Second. It's not awful, but it just doesn't look as good as most other racers do, I'm sure it's hard to animate all the environmental destruction and whatnot, and that part of it actually was OK, but the car models and overall texture is just worse than most racing games.
-James Bond: Bloodstone, worse looking than the 3+ year old Quantum of Solace and all the other Call of Duty derived shooters. How'd they manage that?
