Games that make you cry

Alright, it's time to shed our manliness for a while and show our soft spot...:cry:

What games, if any, have ever made you cry? Don't lie... video games are powerful things. If a video game is powerful enough to make you cry (for a good reason ;)) Then it has to be awesome.

I cried at the end of OoT just because it was over. I also cried at the end of Kindom Hearts... it was kinda sad, and I really liked the music that went with it.

no but seriously.... no game has ever made me cry, cause no games story has been good enough to stir up that kind of emotion of any lvl out of me.

Final Fantasy 2 when Pallom and Porom Sacrafice themselves to save you, and Also Yang ( same game :lol: )

No game has made me cry....yet. I always get pissed instead at whatever happened.

The first KH ending was actually pretty sad and KH 2 had good ending too but it wasn't sad.

*EDIT* I just thought I should let evryone know the Kingdom Hearts series actually has a good deep story and was fun to play! If you haven't tried KH you should!!!

I cried a fair amount the first time i played Daikatana, but that is not so much emotional storytelling and more "omg this game is bad"

More on topic no GAME has every made me cry. However you play the right music from teh right games of my childhood and youll get a little welled up tear, I have a soft spot for it. Like the Piano version of the FF7 fight music off the advent children soundtrack. There is a certain spot in there about halfway through where it hits me everytime, its a good memory. Same thing happens when I watch the original star rwars movie during that deathstar battle. Basically itsless of a sadness and more of a remembrance of happy childhood memories and better times before the weight of the world is on your shoulders and the only thing you need to worry about is those imaginary tie fighters at your back at the age of 5.

I don't think I've ever cried at the end of a game...

I actually get kind of teary when I hear something nostalgic, though. Particularly the ending theme for silver/gold.

The ending of Metal Gear Solid 3 made me cry a little.

But oddly the movie Click made me cry my eyes towards the end.

this was unforgottable, however I didn't cry but I was pissed off, same thing with legend of the dragoon, when your partner dies and last Aeris from ff7.It was some classic moments.Another shocking moment it is little out of subject but it was classic and I made save point only to see that scene whenever I want, it was in Xenogears when the red gear comes to the ship in the desert.( spoilers I can't write the whole scene)

I nearly cried through frustration at the Hades Blades in God of War...

No game has yet to make me cry from its story, yet.

But there was something about Shenmue and Morrowind that almost made me do it....like I had finally beat a game that I thought would never end.

FFX ending I din't cry or anything but it was just touching and sad.

Ending of MGS3 and near-ending of Okami (not gonna say what for fear of spoilers). Those were the ones that made me cry from the storyline. However when I was younger I cried because my friend beat me online in Age of Mythology :cry: I was like "HOW DID HE HAVE SO MANY STABLES!!!" seriously he probably built 25 stables all over the map. That was when I was like 7 though. Also Jak II made me cry from being too hard (also when I was 7 or so). I spent about an hour on one mission, not getting any further. Then I cried and never played it again.

I cry when i finish playing 23 hours of WOW straight in a day cause i look back at my life and go "WTF is wrong with me?"

 only think in life actually that makes me even shed a tear is game music from my childhood.

I mean hearing the soundtrack of Donkey Kong Country 2, Sonic, Metroid, Starcraft and some others always make me feel ...well...more happy than sad actually. I can't believe how much people understimate the music in the games.

Never has a game made me cry... have I gotten a little sad at times, maybe, I guess. But whenever a game developer "aims" for sad they always come off as cheezy.

However I have cried like a little girl in some movies...... I dare anyone to watch "The Cure" and if you dont cry, then I'd check to make sure you have a heartbeat.

Crying for a game or movie is pathetic. It's not real, it's like crying because your plastic dog got run over.Dopemonk736
