No game, except CoD & FF.
Cod - No hate involved, but because there's ben 7 damn games in 7 damn years. And lately, mostly its just ben a copy-paste job with a new coat of paint, the story(SP) has become to damn generic, and insignificant, now some would say "its a MP game duh!", well damn, then REMOVE the SP campaign if they are not even trying to make it good, instead of having such a generic piece. Plus any human being can easily observe that the hatebase is getting bigger and bigger due to this. That could not be a good thing, now could it.
Won't judge the community, since that is not the game's fault.
FF - What happened? This is the company that made THE greatest JRPG's of all times (Chrono Trigger, Xenogears, the legendary FF6, the highly influencial FF7, and some others). I'll tell you what happened, man. This is what happens wen you milk and re-milk a franchise to such a extent, and not focus on other IP's. You fall, and fall bad. FF13 was not bad critically (i hated it though), it scored well, people love it. But no way is it even in the same legue of past successes. They NEED to take a break from this franchise, and make a new damn IP, or focus on other damn sequels. Like a Chrono Cross 2, etc. They were once better then both Bethesda & Bioware combined, but now they fell badly behind and i don't think they are even top 5 anymore.
I like both these franchises, that's why i'm criticizing them, i would wish they take a long break, re-make something wonderful, and make these babies hot again. Because now? Don't tell me its aiight, you know in your heart that its not. I don't want to see this money milking happening to them to such a extent.
[QUOTE="AncientDozer"][QUOTE="DarkGamer007"]Halo? Not quite. How many games have they come up with? 1, 2, 3, Wars, ODST, and Reach? That's no that many when you look at Final Fantasy or Mario or even Zelda. Three main games and a couple spinoffs is nothing. check the gap between releases of the nintendo franchises (and the final fantasy series) and the halo series.Yes, yes it could.

I was just about to say this. Zelda games are years in between, how many Halos have there been since 2001?
As for Mario, he isn't an antagonist that stars in one game with a progressive story. He is a cardboard cut-out that stars in different genres of games.
Anything that has seen its "fifth" iteration released this generation. Even most often-released Nintendo IP should be given a bit of a break, and older, more obscure stuff be brought back. KEY and DKCR are the first step in a major revitalization. Now all we need is F-Zero and Star Fox.
Honestly, nothing really comes to mind. Any series which has gotten worse to me I no longer care about and therefore don't care if there is ever a game in said series ever again.
