I can't really think of a great many 9.0+ games that I intensely dislike, but Burnout Paradise was something I hated until they added the "easy drive" HUD. Then it became a brilliant game.

Well I can't believe all the hate for R2 as it was of my favorite games on the PS3 with Uncharted and Infamous. Maybe it deserved less than a 9 but I thought it was definitely an improvement over RFOM as far as graphics and better boss battles. Though I do agree that AC was just plain boring I actually quit it afteran hour of actual gameplay(not including turtorial) and I just can't get back to it. I mean the tutorial was horribly boring also.LOL. I will also have to say GTA4 just a pointless game with horrible fighting mechanisms.Killzone 2 I would agree with the controls(hard to aim)even though I think it is saved by the realistic atmosphere.
First of all Mass Effect got a 8.5. not a 9 people.
Second of all scores on this site are subjective. Just because it got a 9 doesnt mean its actually a 9.
For me these are the games i felt were not AAA worthy-
inFamous- rented it, meh not a sandbox person (yes that means crackdown,Gta etc)
Little Big Planet- rented it. thats all i have to say
PDZ- doesnt deserve it but still a good prequel
Fallout 3- got boring very fast. Oblivion atleast kept me going somehow.....
wow a lot of people didn't like oblivion. i thought it is a good game. i think that gears of war one and two were bad. i think it should have been something like a 8. gta 4 also comes to mind. there was no way in telling that it would have ended up like that. i didn't think that it should have gotten a 10. i think more of an 8 would be good. xscott1018
A lot of people didn't like Oblivion but rest assured that they will buy the sequel. That is why the industry is doing bad...
I slightly agree with you there, since I think the Half Life 2 games are ridiculously overrated... but I did like Portal a lot. So overall I liked The Orange Box, but it's certainly not AAA material in my book. As for a game that I think was massively overscored, GTAIV pretty much sums that up for me.The game that actually scored a 9.5 that i really hate is the orange box. Why do people like this game so much? I played through all the half life's on this bundle, thought the were subpar shooters, then played portal, thought it was really boring, and then dove into team fortress 2, and then quit 15mins later because it was also boring. Call me strange for not liking this game, but thats just me. Now tell a game that scored well that you didn't like and many other people did.
Crispenz
Oblivion (was fun for a a few hourse then it got repetitive and boring)
Assassin's Creed (got repetitive, I actually thought I could CHOOSE the way I kill someone like Hitman)
Mass Effect (stupid ai, weak gunplay, cut and paste areas)
Fallout 3 (easy, poor story and writing, weird characters, Bethesda still hasn't fixed the eye graphic thing, got boring and repetitive after a while)
All imo.
I'd have to say Crysis. Best looking game ever made by far, but I thought the gameplay was pretty boring.
Also, in my opinion neither GTA4 or MGS4 should have gotten 10's on GS. I could find flaws with both games pretty easily. They were both incredible though, 9.5's.
I'm pretty sure this post is just a thinly veiled trap engineered by the world's governments to see who agrees with the TC, so they can be hunted down and removed from the gene pool.
I loved the Orange Box, so it looks like I won't be mysteriouslydisappearing anytime soon.
Assassins Creed on the other hand is an abomination against all that is fun in this world. Farcry 2 also deserves an (dis)honorable mention.
Mass Effect, Gears of War, Halo 2 and 3, Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime series, Resident Evil 4 and 5, Brawl, Resistance, Final Fantasy 12, Odin Sphere.MarthRingman
I know i'll probably get flamed for this but Oblivion, I got so bored with that game and was so long and yawn inducing.Solid_Max13
This. At some point it started to feel like work! :D
Chrono Cross
No More Heroes: It's not fun to actually play and the humor is novel at first but quickly gets old
Little Big Planet: It seems like this game should be hard for most people to really get a kick out of for more than 2 minutes. The single player premade levels are pretty boring with its very basic platforming gameplay. I can see how some people can adore it to pieces if designing platforming levels gives them a jolt of some sort, but otherwise meh.
Fallout 3. Ok I don't HATE it. It's just severely overrated. Fun on the surface level, but full of bugs, contains an extremely contrived morality system that we have seen 50 billion times, and the customization options are not even mildly balanced with agi/vats skills destroying the game on any difficulty mid-late game.
Assassin's Creed.
This is what I looked like when I was playing the game.
This is what I looked like when I shut it off.
AC was the most overrated game I've ever played. I hope the second one does well though as the first one had good ideas, but poor execution. The Italian Renaissance is a brilliant idea for a setting as well.
Final Fantasy XII for me. I think I just went wrong on the license board......all my characters were tanks and it came to a point in the game where grinding wasn't enough and it was way too difficult. Heh, I suck at setting up gambits, too.......
The 2 games that scored perfect i absolutely hate :|n00bkidAren't there like, 6 games? I'm guessing CC and something else?
burnout paradise - was boring compared to past burnout games...didnt like the whole driving around the city looking for missions thing
assassins creed - boring and repetitive how in the world did this get good reviews
[QUOTE="nintendoboy16"]Mario Galaxy and Perfect Dark Zero.mitu123Wait, you have a 360??? No, but seeing X-Play's review (and seeing that they were being serious on this) and the majority of my friends telling me that it disappointed a lot of them. I decided not to get it if I get a 360. Damn, should've added a not out of hate thing.

Fallout 3. Got fed up navigating depressing scenery and having to shoot enemies 10 times in the face for them to die...
The repair system was also bs... it was just way too annoying for first time players.
