There are high budget multiplats that don't make it to the Pc, but which ones are really wished by the Pc audience?

in my opinion games like Bayonetta and Super Street Fighter are not meant for the Pc platform, while games like L.A. Noire, Red Dead Redemption and Alan Wake scream "play me on Pc!"

those are just some examples of games that I think would shine on Pc and even make good revenues.

what games should be on Pc in your opinion?

and what's keeping a third party dev from releasing those multiplats for Pc, too?

I would LOVE Bayonetta for the PC, DMC4 for the PC was great. I also can't wait for AE to come out on PC. :)

Dark Souls... to unlock its what will be wasted potential. (not to say it cant be great, but due to the less limiting factors and experiance with online games on PC to Console the idea could go alot further.)

in my little pc gaming experience, I can say that Pc gaming is not as great as Pc gamers make it out to be. it's just a good option, but at the end of the day software is what counts the most, the games, and if you're not into pc-only genres, then you're better off playing a console.

Demons souls doesn't make sense to not be on PC. Games like that are made for it.

This. RDR would be incredible on PC for the mods alone. Its one of my favorite games this gen, and I'd love an excuse to play it again. LA Noir and Alan Wake would be awesome, too. I honestly think they'll make them available eventually. I have a feeling companies hold back on these big titles for the PC so they'll sell as much as possible on consoles and avoid the initial flood of piracy. That's probably way off actually. :P

Gears 2 and 3. The engine is soooo much better on PC. Play Gears 1 or Bulletstorm on 360, then play the PC version and tell me you aren't blown away.

Funny thing about that is that it was supposed to be on PC, was in developement for years as a PC game that would ALSO appear on 360.

But money from M$ changed that:(

I suppose Heavy Rain, because it plays more like a movie than a game. In all honesty I feel that most genres (except RTS, MMO, FPS) are horrible on the PC.

Dark Souls (Namco + JP dev)

Bayonetta (JP dev)

Vanquish (JP dev)

Red Dead Redemption (Toronto and San Diego are busy, it's possible that the new PC team could do the port but they are most likely working on GTAV)

Marvel vs Capcom 3 (SMvC3 will probably be on the pc, MvC3 is already made for the PC because of the engine it uses but Capcom isn't releasing it)

LA Noire (they said they want to do a pc version)

Alan Wake (Was made by a PC dev who made a PC series with the first entry selling 5 million + units, Alan Wake was going to have console versions but retain a PC focus. Microsoft forced 360 exclusivity)

Shadow of the Damned (PC version was put on hold)

That game would be amazing on the pc. Left click to attack, right click to block, shift to dodge, mouse wheel to switch weapons. Really, I can't think of any game that wouldn't be better on the pc. Both the Xbox 360 and PS3 controllers are compatible with the pc, so the deciding factor would at minimum be better graphics and a higher frame rate.

I preferred Indigo Prophecy on the PC, so Heavy Rain would probably translate well. As for the rest of your post... What makes other genres horrible on PC? They're the same exact games. If its just that you prefer a controller then plug one in and you're good to go. I use my PS3 controller. There's no difference at all.

How does heavy rain fits on pc? It fplays like a movie so it fits on the tv plus the way you control the game .... meh is not really a game that should be on pc.

Red Dead Redemption, Vanquish, and L.A. Noire. Other then that I'm good. Imagine modding abilities in L.A. Noire (creating your own cases) and Red Dead Redemption (creating your own multiplayer levels). Would be awesome. Vanquish I'd just like to have a KB/Mouse to play with. Game is too fast paced for a gamepad, though I think that with most games.

It's a freaking hardcore wrpg style with online features. Games like that always shine on PC. As for controllers, I don't see anything wrong with it. First of all everyone has a gamepad for their pc (gamers at least) and I played dmc with m/kb let alone a slower kind of combat like in ds.

That could be handled by how long the mouse button is held. A quick click for a normal attack, parry. Hold the mouse button in for a strong attack/block.

Demon's Souls would control better on the PC but you would need to alter the hud

Space Bar = Run + Evade

WASD = Movement

Mouse = Camera control, ranged weapon aiming

Items would be selected with the mouse and they would be on a bar at the bottom of the screen

Magic would be selected in a similar way but you'd use something like Q to use the active spell

F = Lock on

Shift = alt attack block (M1 + Shift = strong attack) (M2 + shift = counter attack)

Y= Leave note

Caps Lock = activate mic (Yeah that's right voice chat, something the game should have had)

E= interact key

Tab= open inventory

Scroll Wheel = switch target

The game would control better because of faster selection of targets/spells

Hold down left mouse button for strong attack. Quick click for light attack. Hold down right mouse button for block. Quick click to parry. It's possible. I'd still prefer a controller, but having the number keys for inventory selection, etc would be nice.

Virtually every ps3 exclusive lol. Alot of its games, I could see being pretty interesting on it. Some, I would still stick with a controller like mgs, but warhawk could have benefited with a mouses precise aiming.

Alan wake though...If they kept it on pc, it could have had so much potential. Its not even funny.

All you'd need is: Left Click - Attack, Right Click - Strong attack, Middle mouse - Lock on, then Ctrl and Alt as Block and Parry. Best part about it is you'd be able to customize the controls how you wanted.

Stop looking at your mouse and look at the dozens of buttons to your left. There are plenty of options for different attacks. They don't all have to be on the mouse. You could actually make the space bar your shield button, time the left mouse clicks for attack strengths, and make the right mouse button your parry. There are tons of options there. What's better, is most PC games let you configure it how you want.

Red Dead Redemption Silent Hill 2 These are just the ones considering only m/kb gameplay... For gamepads + m/kb, you might as well port the entire 360+ps3 library to pc.

Really, I can't think of any game that wouldn't be better on the pc. Both the Xbox 360 and PS3 controllers are compatible with the pc, so the deciding factor would at minimum be better graphics and a higher frame rate.SAGE_OF_FIRE

Demon's Souls would control better on the PC but you would need to alter the hud

Space Bar = Run + Evade

WASD = Movement

Mouse = Camera control, ranged weapon aiming

Items would be selected with the mouse and they would be on a bar at the bottom of the screen

Magic would be selected in a similar way but you'd use something like Q to use the active spell

F = Lock on

Shift = alt attack block (M1 + Shift = strong attack) (M2 + shift = counter attack)

Y= Leave note

Caps Lock = activate mic (Yeah that's right voice chat, something the game should have had)

E= interact key

Tab= open inventory

Scroll Wheel = switch target

The game would control better because of faster selection of targets/spells

This control scheme might work, but that would not work well. Overall its still a bad control scheme, but maybe its just me since I'm not good with a keyboard.
