Space Marines is a spin off, rts games don't belong on consoles. Crysis =/= Crysis 2 and Battlefield (bad company) 3 =/= Battlefield 3.I wish PC exclusives like Battlefield, Crysis, and Warhammer were on or coming to consoles. :(

[QUOTE="PurpleMan5000"] That game would be amazing on the pc. Left click to attack, right click to block, shift to dodge, mouse wheel to switch weapons. Really, I can't think of any game that wouldn't be better on the pc. Both the Xbox 360 and PS3 controllers are compatible with the pc, so the deciding factor would at minimum be better graphics and a higher frame rate.nbessiner
Demon's Souls would control better on the PC but you would need to alter the hud
Space Bar = Run + Evade
WASD = Movement
Mouse = Camera control, ranged weapon aiming
Items would be selected with the mouse and they would be on a bar at the bottom of the screen
Magic would be selected in a similar way but you'd use something like Q to use the active spell
F = Lock on
Shift = alt attack block (M1 + Shift = strong attack) (M2 + shift = counter attack)
Y= Leave note
Caps Lock = activate mic (Yeah that's right voice chat, something the game should have had)
E= interact key
Tab= open inventory
Scroll Wheel = switch target
The game would control better because of faster selection of targets/spells
This control scheme might work, but that would not work well. Overall its still a bad control scheme, but maybe its just me since I'm not good with a keyboard.
I also want to add that ctrl= walk. But overall both the kb/m and controller would be pretty much the same, just comes down to what you prefer. I would use the kb/m if the game allowed you to select spells/items with the mouse cursor on the screen, maybe holding middle mouse makes the cursor appear and you just let go on top of the item you want.[QUOTE="edidili"]
[QUOTE="nbessiner"]
Why do so many people say Demons souls? I can't imagine playing it with a mouse and keyboard. Could someone correct me and show me what the controls might possibly be?
nbessiner
It's a freaking hardcore wrpg style with online features. Games like that always shine on PC. As for controllers, I don't see anything wrong with it. First of all everyone has a gamepad for their pc (gamers at least) and I played dmc with m/kb let alone a slower kind of combat like in ds.
The only thing that bothers me is the controls. The only way I could see it working was if the mouse had four buttons on it for attack, strong attack, block and parry, but it doesn't
Nothing that hasn't been done before. I would love it to play with my friends on steam with skype for communicating. Imagine if the game had user created mods, armors and levels, it would have been fantastic and quite popular unlike the ps3 version that barely got recognized. Demons souls was japanese rpg that would feel at home in PC because of its artstyle and gameplay but for some strange reasons japanese devs are obsessed with PS and handhelds ignoring quite a large audience out there. Then they wonder why western devs surpassed them.

I second that. Gears didn't look a whole lot better, but it sure played better. Bulletstorm, on the other hand, blows the console versions away. Pretty much all UE games should be on PC, IMO. There's things the UE3 engine does that the consoles would never get to see.[QUOTE="CB4McGusto"]I wish there were more console exclusives for PC gamers to want. Imagine if their was a room with a mirror (?) and a book beside it and you could activate and can choose to load one of the custom levels in your maps folder. Although they would have to make it so you couldn't get souls or drops from enemies in those maps to prevent cheating.[QUOTE="Mystic-G"][QUOTE="CB4McGusto"]I wish there were more console exclusives for PC gamers to want. Best part about Gears on PC was that the sniper rifle was actually useful in multiplayer.

MAG
Mortal Kombat
Killzone 2 & 3
Gran Turismo 5
Little Big Planet
MGS4...
pretty much everything on PS3 :P

Yeah, and only Sony fanboys would still buy the PS3 :P
Halo 3 and Alan Wake.

Agreed. With Bulletstorm in particular I was amazed at the difference, especially in lighting and textures. Looks like a whole different game, comparable to Crysis 2.
Any game that can be done on consoles can be done on pc because you can just use 360 controllers. Street Fighter 4 was better on pc, it's just they didn't get the next versions (although now we're getting arcade edition.) I wish pc got all games on more than one platform, it's nice to have better graphics and framerate.

I doubt i am the only one who didnt see two different version of a game and it made my jaw drop. I know people are good at hyperbole here.Nothing needs to be on any platform. I would have bought Bayonetta for the PC if given the choice because I would be able to play it at 120 fps.I really don't see why Bayonetta needs to be on PC

But bulletstorm is on the pc. :S Any game can be good on any platform.'Cause the ps3 version is blurry... and the ps3 is noisier than my pc, as well as producing needless heat and wasting power. RDR, L.A. Noire, Vanquish, Demon's Souls, basically every console game should be on pc imo, shooters would need to be tweaked however, since if you leave them like Halo CE's pc port, it's kinda meh, since the balance is towards the controller.I really don't see why Bayonetta needs to be on PC

More important than the graphics in the case of Gears 1 PC is the whole completely exclusive PC chapter where you even fight a Brumak,something you never did on the 360 version.Please Log In to post.
