It was eye candy when it came out. Best art design on the ps2. Cell-shaded is so godly. I don't understand why there hasn't been one cell-shaded game on xbox 360/ps3.

Resident Evil for gamecube, anyone?
I think a lot of games still look good, because my standards for them haven't changed. Which is why I still think Resident Evil 2 looks good, etc ...
Max Payne 2 looks so amazing and is actually comparable to other games this gen. And not to mention it came out in 2003.Splinter Cell chaos theory. Because it actually looks better then its sequel Double Agent.
And almost every game that uses 2D art and animation from the 90's. Seriously Games like Planescape are just so appealing to the eye.

[QUOTE="AAllxxjjnn"][QUOTE="ManicAce"]That's KOTOR, right? Are there any mods installed there?Yeah it's Kotor1, no graphical mods at least that I can recall. Just the widescreen tweak. I dont think so, I played it on my laptop the other month with all the settings at high... and it doesnt look like that.ManicAce

Crackdown is cell shaded, Borderlands will be cell shaded, I'm sure there's more.
What's the first game?... I miss 2d too :(Man, 2d Games should never have gone out of style.Wartzay
[QUOTE="clembo1990"]What's the first game?... I miss 2d too :( AoE II. I still play it today, and I've got to say, the 2D graphics are pretty timeless. Wow, it make me want to reinstall RoN again for some reason.[QUOTE="Wartzay"]

They're obviously downsized from 16x10 and taken in "free look" (caps) using highest settings. I think it's the background plus HK's detailed model playing a trick, try these.
They need to release it on PSN right nowOkay, here's Parasite Eve 2. Best looking game on Playstation imo.
