Games with great singleplayer and MP?

Can you think of any games that have both? there's only a couple I can think of and that's Medal of Honor Allied Assault and F.E.A.R. people still play those games today even after Gamespy closed down the hosted servers. The community modded the games so everybody can play online again which is awesome. The gameplay still holds the test of time even if the graphics are dated.

Halo 1 through 4. Haven’t played 5. 4 is the weakest of the bunch but I’d argue is still solid. The other 5 have a very good campaign and some of the best multiplayer action on consoles.

Mass Effect 3 came with great single player & MP.

Titanfall 2 springs to mind solid MP and probably the best SP FPS campaign after HL2.

All ribbing aside, I would say these, and most RTS and loot crawlers lend themselves really well to both SP and MP

Seconded on Mass Effect 3. The single and multiplayer blew me away.

Also Warcraft 3 where I can play endlessly.

Goldeneye, and Nightfire. And Timesplitters Future Perfect.

Some Need for Speeds have pretty good singlplayer campaigns.

Good point on golden eye 64 everyone loves the single player and multiplayer on that game its really versatile game

Last of Us factions surprisingly is a really well made team based multiplayer. Loved it.

Half Life and Halo did it best. HL being mods of course.

Probably Halo.

Mass Effect 3. Campaign wasn't as good as the first two, but still pretty good and its multiplayer was legendary status.

Titanfall 2 has excellent SP but its a game that use MP as selling point. might be best allrounder game past gen.

Metal Gear Solid 4. I spent so much time on the online even though it ran like crap.

Bubble Bobble (C64/Arcade), Super Cars 2 (Amiga) and Street Fighter 2 (SNES/Arcade). Yeah, those games go WAAAY back, but they are the greatest SP/MP games ever created.

@davillain-: agreed... Played the entire offering in me3 a lot... The mp was awesome as was the sp. Wish mp was in the legendary edition.

I also, think the slick combat in the mp (bioware Montreal) was the inspiration for Andromeda (also bioware Montreal). And I did NOT like that. Without meaningful squad control and command its not a mass effect game to me. How else do you build a real trust in garrus or Liara if you're not directly in collaboration with them in combat. Get it right for the next game bioware!

@TheEroica: I'll admit, I really do like Andromeda's single player of the game mainly just the gameplay was legit, but the MP itself was a huge stepdown, it was missing alot of key characters from ME3 MP and I was so disappointed how bad they screw up Andromeda's MP. Really shame ME3 MP isn't coming to Legendary Edition indeed.

The Last of Us.

Tony Hawk, CoD, Gears of War were all great in both aspects.
