I'm kinda curious on why people says Bioshock. I thoughtthe ending was good... I mean
you get back to the surface with the Lil Sisters and you all be happy together
And while you diss that ending, you don't even mention AC, which btw has not even an ending, the story just get chopped at one point and we're waiting for the next part of it.
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords.
The ending was so painfully horrible... I hate LucasArts for making Obsiden rush through the production of the game.
this is so true and I actually enjoyed the second one more right up until the end where it got completely ruined.Wow some of you people pointing to bioshock show massive amounts of fail. The 'good' ending showed little but it had a lot of heart.
WARNING KINDA SPOILERISH..
I mean seriously has there ever been a video so emotional with only a couple of hands in it.
Norule04
No, it wasn't emotional in the slightest.
- Fallout 3 - Bioshock - Dead Space - Assassin's CreedTREAL_Since
Oh yeah, I totally forgot Dead Space, but I should've seen it coming from a mile away. Its just that type of game. On another note, I thought Mass Effect's ending was going to be horrible, but it actually turned out to be awesome. One of the few "to be continued" ones that I enjoyed. Oh, and BioShock was a complete slap in the face after such a cool story throughout.

It was emotional... not to the point to bring you to tears but emotional nevertheless. And it's a good ending... **** even the bad ending was good IMO.
I know its not a game, but I still think it deserves a mention. The Village.Can-o-MarkThe ending for that movie made me question my own existence. It was the dumbest thing I ever witnessed on DVD.

The Village made me question why the hell I wasted my money on that... not to mention The Happening. Hands down worst movie EVER!!!!

I just thought the ending was ****ing terrible.
I love it to death but Assassin's Creed was a horrible ending.Aljosa23True, I thought it was going to have an epic ending...But it was alright though. It did it's job getting me hyped for the second installment.

There are only a couple of questions I want answered. Like what's the meaning of life and why did micheal jackson rape his own career. Most of all I want to know why the **** did I watch the happening till the end. Shyamalan meet uwe boll.

I think the movie was good til they tell there are no mosters out there... after that the story went downhill real fast IMO.

The parody about it in Scary Movie 4 was priceless though. :lol:Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords.

yeah that true. I wonder if the grp working to restore the original ending is still working on it. (forgot their name, they started in 2005 I think lol)Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords.

I thought the ending explained itself pretty well.Half-life 2 takes the cake. If I wouldn't have had Episode 1 to play ten seconds after beating Half-Life 2, I would've exploded.
*Spoilers*
Half-Life 2 Ending.

Bioshock had an ending that destroyed the experience for me. Mass Effect had a finale line that destroyed the ending for me. Well not quite, but the way the final line was delivered was so cliched and cheesy it makes me wonder why they bothered to put it in. The rest of the ending was fantastic though. As for Bioshock, what a terrible way to end a great game. I wonder if the writers just gave up at the end. Past the big twist, the plot just went downhill at a ridiculously fast rate.
Assassin's Creed
Infinite Undiscovery (Not a great story but it was interesting, then they screwed it all up SOOOOO bad.)
Condemned 2 (I started out hopifully, then i was at how poor the games ending was.)
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords.

I thought the ending explained itself pretty well. thanks! lets hope they will finish before kotor mmo :\If you consider Advent Children an ending to FFVII, I would say that. They should hve left it go at the end of the game, and not made anymore. I didn't think AC was bad movie, great graphics, but I hate contrived happy endings.jimkabrhel
That's more like a BS ending tbh.
Cloud died... but he's resurrected by Aeris ghost??
BS!!!!
Agreed. It felt so anti-climatic and the fact that it was rushed. Another ending I didn't like is Fable 2. That story is written by a first grader. I've had fortune cookies that express better choices to make then in the ending. I love the games Epic makes as well, but Gears 2 had a dissappointed ending.Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords.

-Mass Effect may have had an epic ending, but just about any other RPG would've had another chapter after that bit, where you actually defeated the bad guys (exactly like in Neverwinter Nights, I guess). I don't see the point of a 'to be continued' when there's not much left to the plot - we know who the villains are, we know where they are...we just have to go and kill them. I found it disappointing.
-I'd say Fallout 3, but that never had a great story to begin with.
Others:
Assassin's Creed. I was loving it. I loved the plot, the characters, the fact that it was historically accurate, I didnt even mind the way they put me into the shoes of Altair, but that ending.... :| How the hell are you going to make a sequel off of that?
Edit: It didnt ruin the game for me. AC is still a superb game that I loved its just the ending was really dissapointing. Especially after a friend of mine told me he heard it had an amazing ending. The next day I asked him if he meant another game.

I have to disagree. That sounds simple to just say it, but what's "left" in the story is more than what can be summed up in a mere epilogue.

Agreed. I hate it when games always give you the cliche "good vs evil" schematic when it comes to moral choices.
