gears of war, what a piece of @#$%, it's supposed to be a fps and most of the time it's a 3rd person shooter and also hyped too much, halo 3 i liked the first two a lot more, much better campaigns, ghost recon games, so frustratingand Mario 64, never really liked N64 games though.daymo93

halo 2 and 3: the single player was just such a big letdown imho. everyone seems to love it though. i cant comment on MP since i dont pay for live and never will.

everquest: rarely do i actually hate a game but this is just a piece of crap imho. it is the finest definition of anti-fun. go kill rats for 6 hours to level up....then kill slightly bigger rats. no matter what class i played, the game made me feel sick. seriously, any dev who would try and pull that off in single player would be shot..SHOT!! i know it was online but thats not an axcuse for the dreary grind that the game was. still all my mates loved it to bits. i played DE1, they played everquest.

jade empire: was really looking foreward to this. something new from bioware that wasnt licenced. what a letdown. so linear and boring. the combat was also very poor. the only lemon that bioware has made but it was poor by their standards. it was like they did tons of research about chinese legends n stuff....and then realised that they actually had to make a game 6 months before the deadline.

FF8. ahahahahaha....what a crap game. just thinking about it now makes my laugh a bit. compared to 7, this was a poor excuse for a FF title. i wanted my characters to die....squall was a moany little baby and the other characters were planks. couldnt finish it. the only positives are that disc 1 was good, it has nice art direction and gun blades look the business. after that it belongs in the bin....with everquest.

UT3: dang what a poor show from epic. ive greatly enjoyed the other UT games...but this is a big step backwards imho. the graphics are lovelya nd it has a few nice maps. but loads of modes have been removed and nothing has been put in to replace them. warfare as a replacement for assault? u have got to be kidding me. its a good arena shooter...but hell so was UT 04. however ut04 also had a crap load of modes and content. seriously if u want a UT game, the origonal and 04 are the ones to go for imho.

MGS: i loved MGS1 on the PS1. after that the series when downhill fast imho. the game just seems to have lost the plot alltogether. the length of some of the cinematics is also completly unnacceptable. i want to play the game...not watch it. kojima, learn from ure mentor. more play, more fun and less bla bla bla please.

And, while I cant say I really hate it, I didnt really like the first kingdom hearts. The main reason being I played KH2 first, which was at least 10x better.

Oh my God....I'm not the only one on Earthwho thinks Super Mario World is better than Super Mario 3. Thank you for letting me know I'm not alone.:P

Edit: Oh yeah and one of the worst. World Of Warcraft. Can't stand that game anymore.

I cannot stand that MGS crap. it's gaming's version of scientology. But it's cool because it has guns and a guy that smokes ciggarettes that was based off a 80's movie.usmcjdk6

It's fair to rat on its gameplay. What I don't get is why people freak out about its story. Think of it like a comic book, a TV drama like heroes, an anime, or even a fantasy. It's actually not that weird when put into those contexts, which is where it belongs. If you compare it to a story from CoD or splinter cell, then yes, it's messed up. Look at the bad guys though. Clearly comic book material.

I rarely despise games that most people adore, even if I think a few of them are overrated. One series i've always despised is the DOA series. I'm sure that's not on the favorites of too many people's lists though.

I was addicted to WoW for a while. And in a way, I hate it. I often crave playing my druid though.

Ocarins of Time and FF7. I can't stand those games.

I'm not particularly fond of the GTA series either.

Also, any Sonic game, new or old, has always been so boring when I play them. I don't know why the series is still around.
