Games you gave a 10/10 rating

Inspired by my recent thread discussion. I don't review games I play, but there are just some games that after I finish I'm like "That was a damn good game!" FF7 was my favourite game back in the day, and although I didn't score it back then, I look back and think from what I remember of it, that it's definitely a 10/10.

So what games have you scored a 10/10 rating.

I have only ever rated 5 games 10/10:

• Portal 2
• System Shock 2
• Unreal Tournament 2004
• Sonic 3 & Knuckles

A prefect 10/10?

Metal Gear Solid 2: Son's of Liberty.

There may be arguments about 2D games, but as far as games since the 3D era started, MGS2 (on the PS2) is probably the only 100% flawless game I can say I've ever played.

Bet you if i played Morrowind when it was originally released, it'd be on the list as well. Even tho i am against rehashing old titles, i'd be down for a full Morrowind remake. A game i regret missing out on.

Breath of the Wild and Metroid Dread. Two of the greatest games ever made.

I only gave two 10/10 in my life and those were Shadow of the Colossus and Resident Evil 4

Many came close but these were the only two that I confidently gave a 10 (at the time they came out)

Metal Gear Solid 1 - 4.

Silent Hill 2

Yakuza 0.

orcarina of time, re4, metroid prime, warcraft 3 and frozen throne, starcraft 1, castlevania games for the gba. I'd add subnautica to the list, if the game wasn't so full of bugs. Damn shame too. Golden Sun 1 and 2, FH5, advance wars, fire emblem 3ds.

Honestly im not a huge racing fan and normally I wouldn't even include a racing game as a 10 in my book, but FH5 deserves it. You really can't make a racing game better than forza horizon 5, so its a 10.

Theres a bunch of 9 games that follow next, halo infinite, persona 5, spiderman, any of the uncharted games, gears of war 1, metroid dread, SMTV, etc etc.

Alot of the games rate as 10 have clear flaws, just reviewing it by simple "memorable experience" Mean, Halflife is about 25+ years old and I remember more playing that for the first time than the last 25 Ubisoft games. That's a 10, regardless of shitty sections.

Metal Gear Solid 3 probably be up there as well with Splinter Cell 3.

Metal Gear Solid 2 is probably objectively a better game, but I didn't like playing as a boy with a vagina or the rambling nonsense it turned into.

Metal Gear Solid 3 had the melodrama and babble as well, but I gave a shit about what was going on. It was basically a glorified Bond/Rambo movie with a milf.

Splinter Cell 3 is still the pinnacle of the series. Instead of evolving it regressed. I like a few of the later games but that's still peak.
