Metal Gear Solid 3:

Snake Eater and then Subsistence on PS2
Metal Gear Solid HD Collection on both Xbox 360 and PS3
And most recently Snake Eater 3D on 3DS.

I'm sure if I owned a Vita I'd probably have the HD Collection on there as well. Can't get enough of MGS3 :)

I try my best not to re-buy games, but there are a few where I concurrently own or have re-bought a few copies due to one reason or another. Usually it's simply a case of moving from old CD to a GoG or Steam release.

I own a couple of releases of the original Tomb Raider games on PC, a couple of the original Thief games, a couple of the Age of Empires games, a couple of Sim City 2000, etc

I've owned the OG and remaster of FFX, OG and remaster of Ico, Diablo on PS1 and Diablo on PC, Chrono Trigger SNES and now on PS1 (PSP/PS3). I have a few duplicates of the Sonic games and such due to owning various Sega classics collections on different systems.

Now I can add the 3DS version of Ocarina of Time to go with my N64 cart and my GameCube compilations.

I've owned so many different copies and re-releases of the MGS games that I've lost count. Street Fighter 2 and its various versions and re-releases over the years would be up there too.

But I'll be real here, it's definitely Tetris lol. It's probably the same for most of you too, even if you don't realize it.

I own a bunch of older games in physical format that i also bought at gog.com when i saw a really big sale. I bought them as a thumbs up and showing of respect and good will to the site for putting up a great sale and a game i love, even though my original cds still run fine. I get emails from them all the time so whenever i see a decent sale on a classic game i usually buy it from them, even if i have the game already.

But I think Halo is the game i have the most copies and versions of. Its the only Halo i like a lot. I ended up buying two of the original xbox versions and later on bought the xbox 360 remaster of it. If i owned an Xbox one i would no doubt buy the master chief collection or whatever its called that contains the original game also. One of my xbox versions i never opened it, its still in the plastic. I even have the PC version of Halo but never play it since its the worst version.

Also i have three versions of Bloodrayne 2. I got the xbox and ps2 versions for cheap and later on got the PC version free with one of the crappy movies they made of the game. PC version is the best one followed by the xbox one, but the PC version is only playable if you use a ps3 controller with it.... its pretty bad using a keyboard mouse with it.
