Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows. My sister and I gave up once we got to level three. The games was SO boring and the worst series in the Gauntlet franchise.
Not a this gen game, but I couldn't think of anything from this gen.
GTA4, Fallout 3, Dragon Age Origins & to a lesser extent, Oblivion. I didn't finish Oblivion, but I did enjoy myself. When all those gates showed up, I lost interest.
Fallout 3, GTA 4, Far Cry 2, Resistance 1 & 2, Halo 3, Halo ODST (think i'd learn form Halo 3), Fable 2, Darksiders, Dragon Age, Resident Evil 5, Banjo Kazooie N&B.....wow i have alot of unfinished games and thats just off the top of my head, damn BFBC2 and MW2 online gaming :D
KOTOR. Everyone claimed this was Biowares greatest RPG. I bought it, loaded it up and its dull, the characters are stiff, combat surprisingly is overly simple and boring, the RPG mechanics are lackluster, it's just an overall meh game.

Ehhmm the best RPG's Bioware ever made were the Baldurs Gate games. Not a single game they made which are also on consoles comes even close to the Baldurs Gate series.
Yeah, I fell for this one unfortunately too. :(Far Cry 2 I was way off on this one. It looked incredible, had some good reviews and was boring as all hell so I said forget it. Don't really plan to revisit it either.

Did you play it on a console?
Anyway, mine is RE5. Looked good from the begining, but it got really boring.
Assassin's Creed 1 and 2 has got to be the most horridly boring games of this gen. I had to force myself to finish the first game, and I couldn't stand the second game:
-Repetitive gameplay
-bad rpg elements
-Ezio sucks and not a believable assassin(more like a playboy turned wannabe assassin)
-random glitches
-bad framerate
-boring
-and more boring
Demon's Souls. While I actually liked Demon's Souls, I felt like I was playing a single-player MMO and just got bored of it really fast. I'll likely pick up DS again in the future and give it another shot because I really enjoy the difficulty and the game-play.
FF13, I have fun playing it but it's just too much of a hassle to get back into it. Fallout 3, I REALLY enjoyed it for the first 5 hours or so, and then lost complete interest. New Vegas will probably hold me over for the entire game. :D Dragon Age, game starts out great, I like how the story plays it, combat's fun, but after meeting that Elf Assassin of a partner (Who's really cool) I just lost interest. I blame my imaginary ADD and not the games.tagyhag
Maybe you should just stay away from the RPG genre. LOL.

But I love RPG's! I even managed to finish the Witcher! And clocked 100+ hours in Oblivion (Modded of course)I felt the game really comes into it's own after getting off Taris. (first planet) for me - Metroid Prime Hunters. I just didn't like playing that type of game on the DS. much rather have that type of experience on PC or the wii.KOTOR. Resonance of Fate. It was ann okay game, but there were some additions and changes that just made that game more frustaerating than fun.
I rented that game, played it for about half an hour, then returned it. I knew right away I wouldn't like it at all.Resonance of Fate. It was ann okay game, but there were some additions and changes that just made that game more frustaerating than fun.

Dead Rising easily. I'm a huge zombie fan and thought this would have been the perfect game for me. Picked it up and couldn't have been more disappointed with the final product. The controls were terrible, the storyline was sub par, the gameplay mechanics were awful, and just nothing about the game drew me in. I hated the save system, the time limits were horrible, and I hated how a bag of chips took up the same inventory space as a sledge hammer. Then that same sledge hammer would kill 6 zombies and break becoming utterly useless to me. I have no hope for Dead Rising 2 since Capcom did so little to improve Lost Planet 2.kejigoto
I was about to make this exact post, but you beat me to it. I was incredibly excited for dead rising to come out and when I actually played it I completely hated it. Between the save system, the convicts in the hummer and the time limits for missions, I was ready to pull my hair out. I traded in to gamestop the same day I bought it.
I was actually shocked to see that so many people found it fun.
Probably talking around 80% of my game collection.
Maybe i'm just a different gamer, but I usually just play a game until I get bored and pick it up again once i'm in the mood.
But quite often the problem is I only give games about 3 quarters of an hour give or take, to grab me otherwise, I may never pick it back up. That was the problem with quite a few games this gen. Like Twighlight Princess at the beggining and Assasins Creed.
To any who voted Dragon Age.... could you briefly tell me why it got your vote?I'm not disagreeing, I'd just like to know what your problems with it are.
IM going to have to say Gears of War. It was the soul reason I bought a 360 at launch. FInished the game though, but never wanted to play it again. And never played it online. My oldest son plays it and the 2nd one though all the time and loves them.
valkyria chronicles, final fantasytactics 2 umm ds one, dragon age: origins, tales of abyss, tales of legendia, mario galaxy, uncharted, mgs4, da** the list goes on, i can probably list the 4 games or so i did finish XD
The Legend of Zelda, The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, The Legend of Zelda Oracle of Ages, The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords adventures, The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, The Legend of Zelda II, Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops (worst game ever), Final Fantasy VII, etc.
I almost couldn't finish Killzone 2, but I have an ethic and made myself finish it. MW2 on the other hand...
I did play a lot of the multi though :?
assassins creed. i was really ecisted for it and i would say it is one of the worst executions of an awesome idea in game history. simply awful
