Games you wish were more successful.

Halo 3. 3 pages in and no one said it. Oh well. I bet as a post this someone will make the eaxct same joke.

If Valkyria Chronciles isn't selling well, I think I can understand why. The demo was very underwhelimg, I mean let's face it, what were probably the most basic and easiest two battles in the game didn't really do the game a good service. If they had thrown in a good cutscene along with one of the better skirmishes it might have done a bit better. Though it still dosn't help it has such limited apeal. I mean who buys SJRPGS outside of Japan? Probably very few people (Though few can deny the awesome cover art). I recommend it to anyone though, it's alot more fun than it at first seems. If you're in the Uk I seen it half price at Gamestation (I bought it there today).

Okami is a great game, that should have sold.

I don't know if SoTC did sell, but it seems like one of thosse that wouldn't.

Beyond Good Evil didn't sell, real shame, awesome game. Don't really understand why. What was so unapealing about it? Even to the unimaginative it's just pure fun.

I don't know if Zack and Wiki sold well, it should have done, that game is one of the Wii's best games. Not one to be missed.

Criticizing it? One of my top gaming wishes was for a remake or sequel to the System Shock franchise, and I got it :)

There were, IMO, a few things that would've made it even better, but it was still a great game (and I was actually very, very happy that there wasn't breakdown of weapons, TBH). So far, it's my favorite new game of '08 (I preferred The Witcher: Enhanced Edition, however), though I have yet to play Fallout 3, but I'm waiting for mod support before I pick that up...

Valkyria Chronicles, Shadow Of The Colossus and Forbidden Siren all deserved more than what they got. It's really a shame when great games get ignored while a bunch or generic and/or casual titles go straight to the top of sales charts. Silent-Hal

Lair. Call me crazy, but I did quite enjoy the game. Most people hate it without even played it because the reviews were so terrible. I'm glad I played it for myself. Also, Heavenly Sword. A million sold is easily basis for a sequel, games sell much less with similar budgets and get a sequel. The issue isn't in the sales.
