i wasn't trying to be prejudice, i was saying that most japanese games, especially those based on japanese culture don't appeal to me and i will never touch them. as for the others, rpg's take too long to complete and are extremely boring. i tried playing the the elder scrolls 3 on the original xbox and almost fell asleep 1 hour later. i'm being serious too. i was running for one hour in that game with not a single fight or anything interesting happening. mmo's, never. you have to sacrifice too much of your personal life to play one of those games. mgs, i played the first, didn't like it, i'll never play another.

how is america vs russia type storylines about japanese culture? lol, if anything most metal gears seem more based on the hollywood movie culture. not japanese.

so much hate for the mgs series here, you people just dont get it, its not exactly a pick up and play game.

anyway id say any turn based rpg, **** i cant stand them. and anything based on some blockbuster movie. other than that id give most games a try.

i second that.shivers . all the ffs i love ,the starting cutscenes etc ,then comes the spher grid/licence system etc explanation and im like "screw this" and give it back to my friend.ive never played them for more than 11 hrs(ff12).dont have fun playing them but love going to my pals house to watch him play.theyre gorgeous cutscenes.

Now theirs games I avoid simply because i don't have time, like RPG's. But I have played a few I've enjoyed greatly just wish I had more time to play them, which I don't.
