2. the first kz blew on soooo many levels, as did Shellshock. Both from Guerrilla.

they have a lot to prove and the preview didn't help much. shooting cans? done 5 years ago.... sneek and peek? done 5 years ago...

LOL, no need to follow an already made up mind bearing a completely negative opinion of an unreleased game, lol. And yes, I am well aware of the fact that Guerrilla is making the game. And I am also aware of the fact that Sony Computer Entertainment bought out Guerrilla, completely revamped the team, and beefed it up considerably with better personel.

They also made this game a top priority with a 20 million dollar budget (40 million american dollars), which leads to the reasonable conclusion that more is going into this game than just graphics, lol Follow? Probably not, as your mind is obviously already made up, therefore, no matter how postive the press is for this game, and no matter how great it ends up being, you will be the type of person who will blindly ingore any and everything positive about the game no matter what because you are so certain that it will end up being "teh FlOpZoNE.":roll:

Halo 3 upscales to 1080p just like all 360 games. There's a big difference between a game running 1080p natively and a game that upscales from 720p

Do you have evidence that the gameplay will be bad (consider that GS has said it is great)? If you do, please tell us. Do you have evidence that the graphics will not be stunning? Countless videos, images, and previews and hands-on impressions say otherwise.

Then what evidence do you have that Killzone 2 is, or will be, a bad game? If you have some, then maybe you wouldn't appear to be a foaming-at-the-mouth, brainless fanboy like 90% of SW.

This is not the same Guerilla that made Shellshock and KZ1. They have something over 100 people working on the game now, compared to the 20 or 30 they had on the original KZ1. That means that roughly roughly 80 percent or so of the team working on KZ2 is new blood. Your argument would hold water if it was the same Guerilla Games that developed KZ1. But it is obvious that this is not the case.

This game was never hyped to be a Halo killer.It was Killzone 1 that was hyped to be a Halo killer but it turned out different. This time they are not mentioning it. But Leming like yourself love to say that so "IF" the game flops you can say "...haha your halo killer is a flop..."

Personal I think that this game is awsome. And Halo is a avrage shooter. And yes..I played Halo 1 and Halo 2 I think there are other shooters that are way better than Halo.

i just have no faith in guerrilla until they PROVE they're worthy. that's the way it should be, instead of blind belief in a dev simply bc/ they're making a game for your chosen console....

Except that it's NOT the same Guerilla...that was the point of my post. And, I most definetely don't have 'blind faith' in Guerilla -- I would not hype this game or have 'faith' in its success if it were not for the countless positive previews and hands-on impressions it has been receiving. Oh no, God forbid that I be interested in a game for the ps3, especially one that has been getting lots of positive press! Uh oh, guess I must be a raving fanboy :roll: Please.

not every game has to bring something new to the table of fps's....the only games that do that are the unrealistic/futuristic games like halo and unreal...sry but characters in killzone don't jump 10 feet up into the air
