Gamespot hates the PS3, Not being a fanboy.

Out of all the games i've played, played most of these, most certianly not LSL, their compaints are pathetic, and if the graphics aren't just that teeny tiny bit better, they will compain. Not being a fanboy be this is stupid.

Boderlands

• 360: 8.5
• PS3: 8.0

Skate

• 360: 7.5
• PS3: 7.0

MX vs ATV Reflex

• 360: 7.0
• PS3: 6.5

Need for Speed Undercover

• 360: 7.0
• PS3: 6.5

Call of Juarez The Cartel

• 360: 6.0
• PS3: 5.5

Splinter Cell Double Agent

• 360: 8.5
• PS3: 8.0

Leisure Suit Larry Box Office Bust

• 360: 2.5
• PS3: 2.0

As for 360, I played GTA IV on the 360 and it had serious frame rate problems, and both versions got a 10 there.

I agree with you to an extent, but those are horrible examples.

All you've proven is that GS has rated some multiplats higher on 360. Well done knucklehead.

I dont think they hate the PS3. I do want to comment on the borderlands score. I have a plat on the PS3 version and am now playing it on 360 since i was given a copy and it looks worse and runs worse on 360. I have no idea how the 360 version out scored the PS3.djsifer01

They always seem to bash the PS3 version, can blame them for liking a console better but this is a big too biased, I have played MOST of those games as i stated, the only ones i haven't played are Borderlands (i have seen ps3 gameplay though and i want to get it) CoJ and LSL

You may want to have a look at Dragon Age: Origins and Dead Space 2. =/

Borderlands had online issues on the PS3. They did an "After the fact" portion in the review (GS doesn't go back to change scores).

AFAIK it was fixed relatively close to release. Just after GS' review.

And to think, I almost picked up Leisure Suit Larry Box Office on PS3. Phew, now I can rest assured I am getting the definitive version on 360.

People may have misread this thread, I said I played most of the games and not that stupid LSL game, even though I don't listen to reviews I never buy anything under a 4 (although I'm thinking on DNF).

That's not hating the PS3. THe PS3 versions of those games were legitimately inferior.

Some of those games were reviewed by different people as the games came out at later times. And in the case of Splinter Cell Double Agent the PS3 version deserved to get a lower score than the 360, it's one of the very few multiplat games where there is a noticable difference.

The framrate was noticabley lower on PS3 and the charecter models laked alot of detail compared to it's 360 counter part (oddly though the PS3 version had better looking environemnts and structures for some reason). I played both versions of it so I know.

In most cases the games get the same score (as they should). I don't know the reasoning behind all those scores, but I did disagree with the Mass Effect 2 PS3 score, it should have gotten the same score as 360. Anyway GS is biased but I don't know if they are biased against PS3.
