I would of loved to have seen an 16/8 Bit era system wars. Where ports were vastly different from one system to another, sometimes completely swapping out sounds, sprites, colour or missing out entire features.

Sometimes, just sometimes, a system gets a worse version of a game. Thats what happens when different machines use varying hardware and architecture. I know; its crazy!!!

theres actually legit reasons for lower scores on those gmaes mainly due to poor coding, not up to standard and to tell the consumer its not as good dont buy it aswell.

Of course you could just read the reviews and see why they have lower scores instead of whining and with a name like that and a topic like this trying to say your not a fanboy is pretty funny.

you do know games tend to be reviewed in launch state right?

oh yeah skate had some pretty bad frame rate issues in the res.

I bet this place was the best during the N64 / PS1 era, where everything was exclusive and the graphics were so different.

oh yeah and borderlands, gearbox didnt even fix the nerfed voice chat, and the save glitch which corrupted your file aswell......those definately deserve point docking imo.

I dont think they hate the PS3. I do want to comment on the borderlands score. I have a plat on the PS3 version and am now playing it on 360 since i was given a copy and it looks worse and runs worse on 360. I have no idea how the 360 version out scored the PS3.djsifer01

That's your opinion, I personally found the PS3 to be the best system ever made. Aside from a couple rare cases, most PS3 multiplatform games look and play just like the 360 version, aside from very minimal differences that only stupid fanboys pretend to notice.

The reason the PS3 version scored lower was because it had some issues with co-op on it's launch, which was fixed like a week or two later, so the review kind of became irrelevant for that one...

Exactly. I think that is the most damning thing as far as the bias goes. If the games have legit differences, I actually think they shouild give a .5 difference to them (or more difference if it's REALLY significant).

Edit: Lets not forget they gave Skyrim the same score on 360 and PS3 :o :P

As for 360, I played GTA IV on the 360 and it had serious frame rate problems, and both versions got a 10 there.

and I wish everyone would stop complaining. 0.5 is barely anything, and like I said, it goes both ways guys. Come on TC, do we really need to hear complaints about older games that got a slight score change due to slightly noticeable differences that in the reviewer's opinion were worth measuring?

Tom McShea (God McPerfect) is the better reviewer. He single handedly just pissed off all the cows and sheep with his reviews.

No wonder Cows are so badly regarded here in System Wars.

Pretty much says it all.

I would just say Gamespot is horrible at reviewing games. Some games I think are awesome have been rated very low, Halo Wars being one of them. And some games I thought were terrible were rated high. I am not saying that every review should agree with me but like already said, looking at Metacritic something isn't adding up.
