They gave all versions of Godfather a 7.6. So much for your theory. Talk about cherry picking. I have a Wii and I think GS's reviews have been extremely fair. The real games haven't come out yet and the games that HAVE come out are more about the devs playing around and experimenting with the controller than about making a good game.
People need to stop crying so damn much and just enjoy what they enjoy.
They're not biased. It does seem like they don't know how to play the Wii though, since they're always complaining about the controls when no one else seems to have a problem with them.

Not really, very Sheepish to say that. Look at PSP vs DS compare reviews from Gamespot and elsewhere. Look at Gears of war and Oblivion as well, seem like graphic whores to me.
it's not really biased but rather it's harder to do a review of wii games because controls are a very subjective thing. anyone with eyes can see if something looks good but there are plenty of gamers (and reviewers) that will like the traditional controller better because they are used to it and aren't interested in change.

Not really, very Sheepish to say that. Look at PSP vs DS compare reviews from Gamespot and elsewhere. Look at Gears of war and Oblivion as well, seem like graphic whores to me. Oblivion got highly rated everywhere except the RPG codex which is the most obscure RPG site on the planet unless you're on the OESF. And they do rate DS game really good too, they just don't HATE the PSP like all the people on SW.

Nearly all are good and accurate reviews. You just want them to score higher because you are a fanboy. Gamespot reviews objectively. Take Zelda for instance. It uses extremely old gameplay and style and therefor it's deducted. It recieved 8.8 if I can recall. I personally am an all time DMC fan. The latest and in my opinion the best DMC game yet recieved an 8.6. If you can prove to me I was complaining Gamespot was biased when this happened we'll continue the conversation.

Doesn't the WII have a traditionall controller? that's more from VC games. ppl buy the wii for the new controls.

actually the PS3 and Wii versions of the Godfather scored the same.....i found that funny considering how much "better" the PS3 is than the Wii. and just you wait till SSBB.....;)
Face it, Wii has one major crippling aspect that will always keep its game ratings lower then they could have been.
Graphics do matter. Get over it.

sure they do. to a point. reviews are not cross platform. games with bad scores in graphics are bad compared to other games on the same system. therefore it's not a wii problem, it's a developer issue.

Most likely X360. I was planning on getting a PS3 when it launched here (Europe) just for DMC4. But now I don't have to.

Why does it matter, just enjoy the games if you like them. You don't have to go by what GS says to like a game. Look at DBZ BT2 they gave it a BS review, but it is imo an extremely fun game.
They aint biased. The GS reviewers are just tougher critics than other game websites.
Look at the latest Zelda, Jeff gave 10 for tilt, that shows you reviewers also like the Wii games.

What does tilt even mean? Just in general how much the reviewer liked the game from his personal view and not from his professional view. Or so I was told.
