Gamespot's Official Winner of E3

"Microsoft was clear winner with exclusives like Alan Wake,Crackdown 2, Forza 3, Shadow Complex and Splinter Cell: Conviction. Microsoft was already in good shape but the thing that really sold us was Project Natal."

I just saw it on N4G and decided to post it here since it's so relevant, I'm not saying I agree with them or anything. Goodbye.

Alan Wake and Splinter Cell Conviction are both "Microsoft" exculsive I think I'm not sure though.

Gamespot has already proven before that they're Microsoft fanboys, so this doesn't come as a surprise.

i found that the wii and the ps3 had way better games to show then the 360, but project natal was really someting that i didn't saw coming at all, it was very impresive, still that's not gonna make buy a 360 but i know a lot of ppl that will just because of that

well dur. i don't think anyone apart from cows tried to claim sony had the best showing.

and to those who say natal is lame i just can't wait :) you truly haven't read about the tech or even considered that it was basically a tech demo that was shown. the possibilities are truly amazing and the company they purchased has some amazing technology that is included in the Natal accessory, which has its own processor for tracking / sensor arrays.

they also have Johnny Chung Lee (famous Wii hacker) working with them on the project. if anyone knows who he is that should get you even more excited about it. nintendo will be kicking themselves in a year or two for not reaching out to him first.

Natal will fail. I'm not convinced Alan Wake is EVER coming out until I can actually hold it in my hands. Crackdown 1 was lame and I'm sick of Splinter Cell and Forza. Pass.savebattery

I think GS does not use the concept "system wars" but "console wars".

It's interesting how PC is a part of System Wars, and yet Gamespot editors are ignoring the PC in those cases themselves. It's just ridicilous. It's like they're reading from some kind of PR release.

no its not because they say 'console exclusive' - despite what vandal video will have you believe, the PC is a system, not a console. consider them together, or apart, i don't care.

there is a difference between a pure exclusive and a console exclusive to them, hence them using the terms appropriately in articles. that's not to discount the PC, if anything i think it's a compliment, it's like the PC is above the consoles - which we all know is true :P

So far it hasn't been a unanamous decision media wise because I believe IGN and GT said Sony won E3.Javy03

Once again GS fails. Neither Conviction nor Alan Wake are exclusive.

Only thing i'll give them is Crackdown 2. That game should be great. Enjoyed the first one. 2nd will be my 3rd game owned on 360.

Seems like the general consensus is that MS had the best presentation, but Sony had the best content.
Which I agree with.


But at the end of the day do I care about Paul "Good Graphics" McCartney and Steven "Game Council" Spielberg or do I care about games?

They are both at the same level of quality. However, M+ is in final form, which means it cannot improve. The Glow Sticks are prototypes, which means they can and will.
