"Combining imaginative gameplay mechanics with cool graphics and killer music, Mr. Bones will not disappoint." And yet it earns a 6.3, LOL what?http://www.gamespot.com/saturn/action/mrbones/review.html?om_act=convert&om_clk=gssummary&tag=summary%3Bread-review
This is the worst one I have read. Wow, it's so coherent with the score.
Either glitchspot missed some paragraphs or the reviewer(and whoever supervised and authorised this) was under the influence of something weird.

I don't think any of them are horrible since its an opinion but if I had to choose it would be Final Fantasy 13 for me. It seemed to me the reviewer WANTED to give the game a low score but gave it a very VERY VERY kind score of 8.5
Also we cant forget bout Kane and Lynch

Nope, 6.4.Oh, you mean Mario KART 64... I thought you meant Super Mario 64. Yeah, that is definitely underrated.

I think it was to pull in more hits. I mean giving it an 8.8 is a bit weird. I mean that close to a 9? Even so, I still think that game is an AAE title. Nothing more, nothing less.No that was actually a good review though the score was clear troll bait[QUOTE="fueled-system"]

Felt like another Zelda game to me.exactly, the same formula, but with an entirely different aesthetic. They've been doing it since Ocarina, and if it aint broke don't fix it. AAAA.
I guess the review I probably disagree with most was their review of Kane and Lynch: Dead Men. I thought it was really great, the shooting and controls were excellent. The story was far better than most videogame stories, with a fantastic ending, and the co-op was so much fun (one of the last true split-screen multiplayer games left in existance). It was fantastic being able to play the game from both sides. Granted there were some bugs, but I really loved that game. I felt it was the perfect successor to Freedom Fighters and deserved the same score, an 8.5.
But it's alright. I know I'm in the minority when it comes to that opinion ;)

Yes, but if a series refuses to evolve with the times, there shouldn't be a surprise if it fails to get AAAA scores.

The biggest problem with Ghost of Sparta is that it tries so hard to mirror previous entries in the series that it doesn't have its own identity
This is hands down one of the most confusing lines I have ever seen in a review. Its right up there with the whole R&C varity thing.

yeah I know, I meant every zelda game has had a change in ... atmosphere, and overall theme. But the same basic formula is therem (it's half -way there in majora's mask.) I wouldn't say it's the best in the series, but that's because I haven't played WW. So far MM is the best :D

This battle is for you, and metacritic / gamesrankings, not me ;)
Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but someone STILL has to explain the review of Perfect Dark 0 to me... even hardcore Lems don't defend that as a legitimate AAA game.

As sad and painful as it is for me the fallout new vegas review was spot on sadly... The glitches were just so much especially when alot of people came on the screen during a quest event theres just no excuse for that stuff.Mario Kart 64
Syphon Filter 2
Far Cry 2
Fallout: New Vegas

I am on my 2nd and a half play through and I have had some glitches where the game would FREEZE whenever I entered a repair screen option for ANYBODY.

Sackboy is lucky that LittleBigPlanet 2 was delayed until January as the above picture will describe what will happen at the end of this year if his game was released as originally scheduled.

Yeah I keep thinking I was blessed with a magic copy too, I crashed twice in the first half hour ever, I got patch, haven't since. :P No other problems of any kind.Halo Wars comes to mind for me. So does Fable 3 (I think mostly because it's recent). Any game that gets a 10 is a poorly reviewed game for me personally. PARTICULARLY GTA IV!

I'm saving that awesome pick. :PHave any of you noticed that LBP and SMG have almost NOTHING in common? Why don't you just put a picture of Zelda taking out Gran Turismo while you're at it? I am not bashing SMG2, because it's an awesome game, but LBP and SMG aren't even trying to compete with each other.

Zelda's defining characteristic is that you are always in need of acquiring new items in order to press on. But zelda games are far more then just entering a new dungeon, collecting 1 new item and using it to beat the dungeon. In the case of TP, the game people seem to be the most aggressive towards, there were plenty of other activities you had to do along the way to spice things up. To dismiss them is to dismiss a large portion of what makes these games so worthy of the term "epic" - as overused as that is these days.
I understand that some people don't like that TP is a sequel to OoT after experiencing MM and WW, but i don't think that makes it a bad zelda game. To be honest, i found TP to be a refreshing experience. It had been 8 years since OoT, i welcomed the return to the more classic zelda style.
I agree with you theuncharted34, TP and most of the other zelda games are masterpieces. TP in particular is a game i'm very passionate about, it happens to be my favourite game of all time :)

True.
While it's strange that the reviewer had such a different view from most others, it is also strange that people that whine about this often ignore an important part of the reviewers logic: "So many different, often unnecessary gameplay mechanics that the game lacks an identity"
