Gamespotters more likely to buy the NextBox and PS4 rather than WiiU

While I'm more likely to invest in the next Xbox first, since it's my favorite of the 3 this gen, I do think I'll be getting all 3. I just have to see which one makes it to the market first, then that will probably be the first one I buy. The short videos I've seen of the Wii U, those games do look really good in HD, so I wouldn't want to miss out on the Marios, Zeldas, and Metroids in HD. My answer is all of em.

People on internets =/= real world.

If they honestly think that we are going to get a huge graphics leap with the next gen then they are saddly mistaken. I doubt half the time it will even be noticable, with the exception of (hopefully) everthing running at 60fps and in 1080p.

Agreed. If Wii U turns out to be the most powerful of the bunch while PS4 & the next Xbox console only sees a small leap in graphics & power, I'll laugh.

No clue, as I'm not likely to jump into any launch systems next gen. I figure one of them will reach "critical mass" on exclusive titles that I want first, and that'll be the choice. And if multiplats continue to dominate next gen, the first console I get will be the only one. PC can take me the rest of the way.

Well the leaked reports of the Wii:U give an idea of how lacklustre it will be giving that it is only slightly better than the 360 and PS3.

PS4 and NextBox we know nothing about but people are eager to see whats on offer..

and it will obviously be a lot better than the PS3 and 360.

In other words, you're in for a surprise. MS will turn around completely and offer a "living room experience", not a gaming console. Sure it'll play multiplats and Halo but that's it.

PS4 is a mystery so I won't comment on that. (Tablet controller too?)

Sure I'm assuming too, but recent events points at my guess being the most likely when it comes to MS. Have fun with your PC's guys, I will enjoy new experiences and Nintendo games in HD.

Once Ninty gets the hype rolling at e3 and shows off what the system can really do though, it'll be a different story.They shouldn't have even announced it last e3, the unveiling was incredibly rushed and awful.

Announcement of home console = 3rd parties have dev kits.

They had to do that, this wasn't an unveiling. They threw in some names like Smash Bros. and showed Zelda sure, but that's nothing compared to the true reveal.

This gen for me was Microsoft and Nintendo. Next gen: Sony and Nintendo

Ah, true.Still it was an incredibly disappointing presentation, I can't wait for e3.

I see no reason to buy an Xbox, the first had some games that I was frustrated to not play but I don't think there is a single 360 exclusive within it's limited selection that I'd want an Xbox for.

I'll probably get all 3 eventually. I plan on getting Wii U for sure though, probably on or around launch if it has some strong early titles.

Teh PC. And maybe a Wii U for the exclusives.
