GameStop Chooses Halo Wars Over KZ2 For Midnight Launch?

What are you talking about? I said the "Halo" brand..this includes everything that is branded "Halo"..the BRAND is a money maker and this is the reason GS promoted a midnight release .. RTS... FPS..MMOGATP..whatever....will sell because of the name...

I know HW is not AAA...You do know most people buy games without reading reviews right?

Look, we all know that Halo Wars may sell particularly well due to its name, but do not fail to remember that Killzone 2 is the most hyped game ever on PlayStation 3 and that it is a FPS, this inordinately popular genre...

My copy of Halo Wars pre-purchased last month so I need only pick it up but won't be doing that at the midnight launch though good news for Halo Wars.

I seriously doubt it killzone 2 has way more pre-orders and when kids find out halo wars is not a shooter by either word of mouth or the demo they won't buy it and the reviews also dampen halo wars.

Wouldn't you? I'm not looking forward to Halo Wars at all, but if I had to decide to have a midnight release between Halo and Killzone, I would pick Halo Wars in a heartbeat. There are just too many mindless drones to take money from with that franchise.lantus
