Nah, that's not a shame at all. MGS4 won Gamepot's GOTY, there's no denying that.

Anyone with a brain atleast the size of a crouton knows that MGS4 should've lost to Crysis Warhead when it comes to "technical graphics". Gamespot may have chose who they chose, but that doesn't make it right. "Best game" is all subjective, "technical graphics" is not.

Meh, the guys just having fun. I used to think he was a "fanboy" but I realized System Wars is just a harmless internet forum and shouldn't be taken too seriously, it's all just harmless fun. And to be on-topic, I would not have given GTA4 the GOTY award, but it's perfectly kosher that GT did. After all MGS4 is GOTY on Gamespot, the ONLY place that counts, right Bioshockownz? :)

What is there you don't get from that score? MGS4 was practically a game for the fans. New players had no clue about what was happening; it got way too confusing at sometimes too. Just because a story is big doesn't make it better.

People might not believe it, but Halo 3 has a very good story, but people don't care because it's 'halo'.

Another thing is that the standars have changed. Halo 3 is around 1.5 years older then MGS4.
