It didn't flop, but it definitely won't be on the "Why Sony Has a Better 2010 Lineup" list. It didn't flop, but it still fell short of being a great game.

solid, it will go down in the warhawk type category.

I'm really, really liking the game, I can't wait to be able to sink some more time into it, been really busy this weekend but starting Monday I'm gonna put some serious time into it.

Very, very fun!

Thats true, it made it to the top 10 if im correct in Japan in the first week, also in UK and british it also made it to the top 3 best selling games.. nothing to be shown for USA yet so far its looking good

Seems like the longer the review took for the site to make the review for MAG the better the score was. I feel like a lot of the reviews were partially done on the Beta

Bad Company 2 is pretty fun, I will have to wait for the full version before I call something else poop.

But the gameplay makes bc2 feel like a slow streaming poop down your leg. Bottom line is MAG is where the big boys will be playing. GOOO VALOR!!!

Get it. It offersone of the bestdepictions of being in an actual battle of any online game I've played.

Good review. I think I'll rent MAG and play through until I get a leadership position to determine whether or not to buy the game. I do like big team based objective modes in multiplayer games so I could see myself liking the game. I don't see why anyone is surprised that the game got AAE scores. I mean Zipper is an AA developer if you look at their track record. The Socom games were never AAA but AA games (go look at metacritic) so it doesn't surprise me that MAG falls into this category.

Just watched the review, and that is actually a horrible review, good but horrible at the same time. He stated sprinting for 2 mins to get back to the battle, I would advise him to change his spawn point lol. He stated player down time during respawns well this is to keep people from instantly respawn in which you wouldn't ever over run a faction geez. And he stated SVER's advantage, which today I was in a squad that over ran SVER with 10 mins left on the clock, so beating them is doable :) Also the graphics are surprisingly good actually. Think most will say once in the game that there not actually that bad, especially when considering 256 players.He shortly mentions the game has no lag, in passing but goes on to tell about dead guys standing up right. Think most thought the game was going to be lag heaven, so since its not you would think they would give it more props for that, especially since games with alot less people have more lag issues.

Good review, I personally would give it a 8.5 or 9, and if they could just bring the graphics upit would easily be a 9 game or 9.5..

Solid scoring on a relatively consistent basis. Well done for the developers, judging from the commentary on the Beta seems the game would have been lucky to be considered worth playing. Good to see it doing well, the more good games the better...alextherussian

But BC2 only have to accompany 24 players total in a single game, and even then, BC2 visuals isn't nowhere near writing home about. MAG doesn't look too epic, but it's valid excuse is that it have 256 players at once on a singular battlefield that probably measure up to 2 BC2 small (and maybe medium) sized maps. Both games have their perks over each other. BC2 have the visuals and the full scale destruction, while MAG have the total player count, larger maps, and a much larger scale in battle.

P.S.: To answer your question, yeah you can, but not as many as you can in BC2.

It's a pretty meh game. Only thing it has going for it is the immense scope of the battles.

BC2 will be the far superior game.

Well the first batch of scores that came out were 60-75 scores, so many people were saying FLOP. It really depends on what it was hyped at. I knew it wasn't getting AAA.
