I know everyone is going to focus on b1tching about that top 2(probably #5 as well), and the heavy emphasis on MP here, and of course Sniper will come in to show how unfunny he is. And I get some decent money on Darklinks b1tch ass complaining about Half Life 2/Cod4/ and some nonsense about Quake. But I think the group is certainly a good list considering most lists tend to just suck. A lot of it seems to be impact based(and admittedly the top 2 are entirely console impact based), and sure some of them are games that aren't even best in their franchise. I'm not big on the order, and certain picks, but that's actually not too shabby.

Plus they get bonus points for knowing better. UNREAL FOR LIFE!! F*CK QUAKE

Time for me to pick at this list:

• I agree with GoldenEye being number 1. It practically was one of the first major successful console FPS games. No arguements here.
• Doom and Unreal Tournament are far to low on this list. I would put Doom at 2 and UT at number 4. These games were the start of the mainstream FPS games on PC that quickly started a FPS revolution on the PC. (I'm also confused as why there is no Quake on this list).
• Call of Duty Modern Warfare (COD 4) is way to high. Yes it is a great FPS, but this is the best FPS of ALL TIME...apparantly. MW4 would be in like number 7 for me.
• Halo 3 should not be on this list. Put Halo 1 where Halo 3 is and I'll agree. Halo 3 was an improvment over Halo 1 but Halo 1 was the game that started the Halo success.
• Counter Strike Source?? Really?? When CS Source came out all I heard was complaint after complaint about it and people much prefered CS 1.6.
