EDIT: The list isnt really about the top 10 BEST games of the decade, but the most revolutionary and with more influence and impact in gaming industry and world in general. Most of them fit in this description, so dont go crazy if you dont see your favorite game there. And this is the reason GTA 3 is there instead of GTA SA or Vice City.

Wouldn't be the same as my list, but I can't hate too much on their choices.

Take off TP and put a more deserving game and I think it would be a pretty standard list.

#2, 5, 7 and 9 are good. The others are not. But then again, its a "list" so it'll only please the person who made it.

And FFX should be no where near a top-10 list, ever.

It judges the games based on the impact they had on the gaming world. I would agree with almost all of those games. And at least they had Metriod!

No complaints here, not a bad list, not a great one either but w/e.

EDIT: Nevermind, Devil May Cry 1 is up there instead of 3.

Shows how much of a contribution ps3 and 360 has been to the evolution of this industry...

WoW is by far the best choice for the number one spot. Impact, quality, sales, critical reception, evoltuion, revolution, popularity = WoW.

Didnt expect that :) Well indeed WoW is an awesome MMORPG that changed everything and set a whole new standards for them.

Though my list wouldnt be with that order , i mean RE4?!! So high?!! I would choose RE remake for GC over it anytime!!

DMC was indeed something special when it first came. HL2 could be at number 4 instead. GTA3 was revolutionary deserves to be there... Hmm

I wish the list was TOP 20 instead, great missing games!! :) But oh well :)

God, I hate people obsession with lists these days. It's a sure sign of Lazy writing. Looks like someone needed to fill some pages with stuff and couldn't come up with anything better.Depending on your preference for games you could replace pretty much all of those games with better choices, ESPECIALLY the first choice.

Actually a pretty good list. Way better than IGN's (was it IGN's that had HL2 at 1 and U2 in the 10th spot with no Metroid Prime or RE4?)

I dont even play WoW or any other MMORPG and i have no problem with it being 1rst. I played it for 1-2months a few years ago cause i wanted to try an MMORPG and actually it was pretty good. Its a game that can last forever. It is like another world.

decent list, i wouldn't agree with zelda (which i liked but didn't have the same 'classic' feel to me like a few others). I'd probs have uncharted or COD:MW (or 2) in there instead...but i guess it all comes down to personal opinion

Thats in your opinion, I think Final fantasy 10 was amazing, and it would be in my top 10, But everyones list would be different, so dont act like your the fountain of gaming knowledge.

I wouldn't have Halo or Devil May Cry on my list (I'd probably sub in Rock Band 2 and Medal of Honor: Allied Assault), but it's pretty close to what I'd have.

I actually think it is a good list. They had a larger impact on me then anything on the 360 and ps3.

Half Life 2 are available on PS3 and 360, which I stated in my thread yesterday.

The list isnt really about the 10 best games of the decade, but the most revolutionary and with bigger impact on the industry, the ones that influenced many other games. If it were about the top 10 best games, GTA SA would have been there instead of GTA 3 and so on. So Shadow of Colossos shouldnt be first at all, i dont think it was very revolutionary or had many influence in many other games, maybe it shouldnt even be on top 10, but alright. Said this, and as the list follows this criteria i might agree with FFX no being there, but if this was really about the top 10 best games, then it should be there.

Can you give some examples? You will refuse to acept this but the fact is that they are indeed better. I used to think old games were bettter too, but i replayed them and they arent really that great, and most games nowadays do everything better in all areas. Also the quantity-quality ratio is a lot bigger. In the past there was an hughe ammount of crappy games.

If WoW's on the list, why not Guitar Hero or Rockband? Despite it's recent milking it's initial establishment as a franchise was pretty innovative and enjoyable.

but my real gripes is Devil May Cry, which Ninja Gaiden should of gotten and TP is pretty much carbon copy of OoT.

Devil May Cry was an amazing game and one of my favorite games of all time. DMC 2,3,4 were way worst. I think DMC 1 formula was great, i have no idea why they removed the survival horror feeling of it. DMC 1 was awsome and it really had an impact in his genre, many games tried to copy it.
