if your not into RTS's that much I wouldn't bother, your more likely to be generally dissapointed when you realize you'll be changing the way you game, the PC setup is mostly keyboard and mouse and I know you can get a controller but it doesn't fit all the games, so gaming on a PC just doesn't always fit the console playstyle.

if you don't get the perfect rig you might end up with stupid drivers or something not working perfectly, and it might be something thats not widely known so dev's won't be all over it to fix, console gaming is much more stable because it doesn't target more then... 2 systems half the time.

pc GAMING > all consoles in theory

However for many the best gaming is playing with friends and sadly its hard for ppl like my to convince friends to download steam.

the_mitch28

didnt know that realize can be typed as realise :P

on topic dont you need a tv for the 199 console then ?

Realise = proper English.

Realize = American English.

Proper English? Are you serious? It's mostly just a difference in spelling between the UK and American styles of English, similar to things such as color vs. colour.

I wouldn't give up a DS, a 360, and a laptop for another computer. Save your money or build your pc piece by piece.

Sell your laptop and DS, keep your 360, and save up some money for a gaming PC. That way you won't miss out console only games and you'll get the superior version of multiplat games on PC

this generation alone the pc has more high scoring exclusives than all three consoles combined. i'm sure you can find plenty that will suit you.
